Please tell me some good accommodations in Matsuyama city or around Dogo Onsen in Ehime Prefecture
I'm planning to take my 84-year-old mother to Matsuyama in the fall. Can you recommend a place to stay in Matsuyama city or around Dogo Onsen that serves delicious food? I'd be happy if the room was comfortable for senior citizen.
15Hotel rankings chosen by people
- Considering the health condition of the mother, we recommended this Ryokan (Japanese inn). It is a famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a long history where haiku poets gather. It can also be used for celebrating longevity. The hot springs, Japanese-style rooms, and food are all well-serviced, making for a relaxing stay.sironeko's answer (Posted on:2016/5/14)

I'll introduce you to some accommodations in Dogo Onsen. I recommend "Dogo Tate." The charm of this hotel is its interior design. The inside of the building is designed to resemble an Edo townscape. You can almost hear the atmosphere of the bustling town. The concept of the meals is that you can't eat what you don't eat here. If you want to take a bath in the hot springs, I recommend staying in a room with an open-air bath. It's easier to get around and you can relax in the hot springs, so I think it's more reassuring.ヒナちゃん's answer (Posted on:2017/7/ 5)

A hotel located near Okaido in the center of Matsuyama and close to Dogo Onsen
- The location is right in front of Okaido in the center of Matsuyama. From here, you can get to both Matsuyama Station and Dogo Onsen with a single city tram. Dogo Onsen is about 10 minutes away, so you can easily go to soto-yu (public bathhouses). There are various types of food available in the Okaido shopping district, so please choose according to your budget.金太待つ神田's answer (Posted on:2014/10/10)

Conveniently located near the downtown area and comes with a hot spring bath
- There is a hot spring in the hotel. In addition, it is located in the center of Matsuyama city, so it is conveniently located near both the airport and the station. The food at the hotel was also good, with a wide variety of side dishes, including some unique to Matsuyama, so I was satisfied. As for dinner, the downtown area is nearby, so I think they can accommodate any preference. Judging from the breakfast, I think you will be satisfied even at the hotel.なし's answer (Posted on:2014/10/10)

A recommended accommodation for exploring Matsuyama
- I recommend the ANA Matsuyama Hotel. Located in the center of the city, it's a great hotel that can easily be chosen as a base for exploring Matsuyama. You can get a beautiful view of Matsuyama Castle from the hotel. The hotel itself is old, but there are no problems with the facilities and it has a nice, calming atmosphere. The hospitality is also great, and you can enjoy delicious Ehime flavors at the breakfast buffet, so you'll feel like you got a bargain. I recommend it.エイム's answer (Posted on:2016/8/18)

All in all there is nothing to say.
- The bath, food, rooms, and service were all perfect. The bath was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and there was so much we couldn't finish it. The rooms were also clean. It was also close to the Botchan bath. Of course, there was an indoor bath, but if you come to Dogo, you have to take a bath in the Botchan bath. It's just a short walk away.まちちゃん0621's answer (Posted on:2016/5/31)

The freshly picked local vegetable salad for breakfast was excellent.
- The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh local vegetables and fruits. It was interesting to have a faucet serving Pon Juice at the front desk. Also, the rental of Imabari towels for hot spring was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to spend a comfortable night in Dogo.ぴぴ's answer (Posted on:2015/11/18)

Universally supported
- How about spending some time at Hotel Kowakuen Haruka? It's very close, about a 1-minute walk to the Dogo Onsen Main Building and Dogo Haikara Street, which can be reached by elevator for guests only. This hotel also takes into consideration barrier-free access, with wheelchair-accessible private baths and universal-access rooms, making it an easy hotel for seniors to stay at. The large public bath is spacious and offers a panoramic view of Matsuyama city.こま's answer (Posted on:2024/6/19)
