  • Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel
  • What are the best hotels in Kurashiki, Okayama?

I'm planning a trip to Kurashiki to see a friend who lives in Okayama. I'm planning to stay there as a couple of women. Are there any hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) around Kurashiki where we can relax? I'd like to stay Ryokan (Japanese inn) that will leave a lasting memory. Thank you.

Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel

1-1-44 Chuo

  • Located at the entrance to the Migao district

  • There is only one hotel with a hot spring in Kurashiki city, and it is located near Yuka Shrine, which is in a very inaccessible location. Although it does not have a hot spring, I recommend this hotel, which is close to the entrance to the scenic area. This hotel specializes in tourism and will make you feel like you are traveling.

Yuga Onsen Hotel Santoka

3285 Kojimayuga, Kurashiki-shi

  • The rooms have an open-air bath.

  • This hot spring inn is located in the mountains of Kurashiki. It is recommended as there is a free shuttle bus from Kurashiki Station. The rooms are pure Japanese-style rooms, and some have an open-air bath. The bath is set up on a wooden deck with a tub bath, and after bathing you can relax in a chair on the wooden deck. The hot spring has a large indoor bath, and the open-air bath is surrounded by greenery and has a nice environment. Although it is a high-class hot spring inn, it is reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Kurashiki Ivy Square

7-2,Honmachi

  • Full of Kurashiki atmosphere

  • There are no hot springs, but Kurashiki Ivy Square is located in the center of Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. It is a historic hotel that was converted from the brick factory of Kurashiki Spinning Co., Ltd. Nearby are Mitsui Outlet Park and Ito-Yokado Ario Shopping Center, making it perfect for sightseeing and shopping.

Washu Blue Resort Kasago

303-17, Fukiage, Shimotsui

  • We recommend the open-air bath with a view of the Great Seto Bridge.

  • Although the name is "hotel", you can relax in a Japanese-style room and enjoy the open-air bath with a beautiful view of the Seto Inland Sea. If you make a reservation, there is a shuttle bus to JR Kojima Station, so it is convenient. The dinner buffet is lively with live performances (depending on the season), so if you value atmosphere, we recommend dining in your room.

Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel

3-21-19 Achi

  • Good location for sightseeing

  • It used to be a major hotel chain, so it still has that look and feel, and is a very luxurious hotel. It's not a hot spring hotel, but it has a clean, modern hotel-style bath. It's located in front of Kurashiki Station on the Sanyo Main Line, in the scenic area, so it's very convenient for sightseeing. If you're prioritizing sightseeing in Kurashiki, why not consider this as an option?

Yoshii Ryokan

1-29 Honmachi

  • A traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kurashiki

  • If you are looking for a quaint Ryokan (Japanese inn) in the Kurashiki area that will leave you with a lasting memory, we recommend Yoshii Ryokan (Japanese inn). Yoshii Ryokan (Japanese inn) is located in the famous Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, making it the perfect location for enjoying Kurashiki's sights. It is also conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station.

Bingoya Ryokan

  • This is a recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a charming interior and delicious food.

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) that exudes the atmosphere of Kurashiki. Although the structure is old, it is clean and very tasteful, so I recommend it. It used to be a traditional Japanese restaurant, so the food is delicious, with kaiseki cuisine made with plenty of seafood. You can relax and enjoy the garden. The bath is also very comfortable. I think it's a good inn for sightseeing and enjoying Kurashiki.

Washu Grand Hotel Bizenya Koshi

5-1-1 Shimotsui, Kurashiki-shi

  • This is Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty) that we recommend for women.

  • How about "Washiu Grand Hotel Bizenya Koshi" in Washu Onsen, facing the Seto Inland Sea? The alkaline spring water is known as a "Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty)" that leaves your skin smooth. In addition, the view from the open-air bath is so beautiful that it has been selected as one of the "100 Best Sunsets in Japan," so it's the perfect place for a memorable hot spring inn.

  • Please note that there are few hot springs in Kurashiki.

  • It's difficult to find hot springs in Kurashiki, as there aren't many of them. How about this inn, which boasts excellent cuisine? You can relax in a Japanese-style room, and best of all, you can enjoy it on a budget. It's a little far from the station, so we recommend taking a bus (there is a free shuttle bus) or a taxi.

HOTEL SETOOHASHI

  • It's independent guest cottages from Kurashiki, but I recommend it.

  • If you have time, there is a free shuttle service after sightseeing in Kurashiki during the day. How about a hotel with a view of the Great Seto Bridge from Mt. Washuu and the Mizushima industrial area? It's soothing to watch the Seto Inland Sea. There is a Seto Great Bridge Spa Resort next door. When my friends come to Kurashiki, I stay here with them. If you have any concerns, please check with the hotel.
