Please tell me sightseeing spots in the Kansai, Chubu and Kanto regions where I can stroll around wearing a rental yukata.
Two women are planning a trip in August. Are there any tourist spots where we can wear rental yukatas and stroll around? We have been to Nikko, Kamakura, and Shuzenji, so please let us know your recommendations other than those. For business hotels, we would like a place that is less than 7,000 yen with breakfast and within a 5-minute walk from a major station. For hot spring inns, we would like a place that is less than 13,000 yen with two meals and does not have to be near the station. We would be happy if the inn offers a free shuttle service.

- If you want to enjoy renting a yukata, we recommend a trip to Kyoto. It's right next to JR Kyoto Station, so it's easy to access from the Shinkansen. From Kyoto Station, you can take the subway or bus to any of the walking spots, so it's popular. There are maiko walking around, but you won't know if they're real unless you ask (lol).ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/27)

You can relax together.
- It's close to Kinosaki Onsen Station, and soto-yu (public bathhouses) are right there. You can relax at a reasonable price. My wife and I went there. We stayed here during a maniac trip to see manhole covers and post office scenic stamps. The next day, we took the ropeway up and a local line to Amanohashidate.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/28)

This place is popular.
- It's a Showa-era retro feel, as if you've been transported to a time machine. However, in recent years, they have been making various improvements to welcome younger guests. Apparently 50 years ago, staying here was a dream for honeymoons.SUU's answer (Posted on:2016/4/20)

How about Kinosaki Onsen?
- This small inn is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station. It's a very convenient location for both Visiting hot springs and sightseeing. Most inns in Kinosaki provide women with colorful yukata and Visiting hot springs tickets. Put on your yukata, put on your geta sandals and head off to tour the outdoor Visiting hot springs. Of course, the inn also has its own onsen, and at the time we visited we were able to use it exclusively. We had delicious Tajima beef Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)in our room. The landlady was also very polite, and we enjoyed a very comfortable trip.ぽよよん's answer (Posted on:2016/9/29)
