Miyajima Shinsen no Yado Hotel Miyarikyu

849 Miyajima-cho, Hatsukaichi-shi

  • Accommodation close to the large torii gate and five-story pagoda of Itsukushima Shrine

  • I recommend the "Kamisen no Yado Hotel Miya Rikyu." It's close to the popular tourist spots of Itsukushima Shrine's large torii gate and the five-story pagoda, so you can enjoy the scenery all day long. The food is Japanese kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that uses plenty of local ingredients, and the portions are plentiful and filling. The bath is also spacious, so you can stretch your legs and relax in it.

  • Food and location was good

  • Itsukushima Shrine is about a 7-minute walk away, making it a convenient location for touring other tourist sites. You can take your time walking around the large torii gates and other attractions. Dinner was a delicious Japanese banquet. Although it wasn't a hot spring, the large public bath was also very pleasant. I also went to Mt. Misen, and the hotel staff gave me information about the shuttle bus to the Miyajima Ropeway that I used on that trip, so I recommend asking the hotel staff for other recommended tourist spots.

  • Hotel Miya Rikyu is located about a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, and is highly recommended for its convenient location. You can also see the Seto Inland Sea from some of the rooms. You can also see the ocean from the observation bath. There are also rooms facing the city and mountains, so please request one in advance. • Accommodation near Itsukushima Shrine

  • Itsukushima Shrine is great. Other recommended places to visit are Miyajima Aquarium and Miyajima Ropeway. The recommended accommodation is Hotel Miyarikyu. The hotel is close to Itsukushima Shrine, so you can go there anytime. I stayed in a room facing the sea, which was spacious and clean, so I was able to relax. • Visit the World Heritage Site Itsukushima Shrine at night!

  • There is a night cruise that allows you to visit the World Heritage site of Itsukushima Shrine at night, so how about joining that? I recommend the Hotel Miyarikyu, which is close to the departure point of the sightseeing boat. The ocean-facing rooms are especially recommended as they have a great view. The Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats can accommodate up to five people, so they are recommended for traveling with friends.

  • We recommend a night cruise where you can get a close-up look at the large torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine!

  • If you go to Miyajima, we recommend a night cruise! You can see the large torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine up close, and the illuminated red torii gate is fantastic. Reservations are required for the night cruise, so please make a reservation in advance. If you are looking for a hotel close to the cruise ship boarding point, Hotel Miyarikyu is a good choice. Itsukushima Shrine is within walking distance, so you can enjoy both the shrine during the day and the night cruise to the large torii gate at night.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) also has Western-style rooms with beds.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) is located within walking distance of the tourist spot, Itsukushima Shrine. In addition to Japanese-style rooms, they also have Western-style rooms with beds, so it is recommended for people who don't like sleeping on a futon in a Japanese-style room. You can also stay without meals, but it is definitely better to apply for a room with meals included! The seafood in the Seto Inland Sea is delicious, so you can enjoy delicious sashimi. You can also order a la carte dishes for an additional fee, so please enjoy Seto Inland Sea gourmet food such as conger eel tempura and fried oysters!

  • Itsukushima Shrine is a 7-minute stroll away.

  • Hotel Miyarikyu is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Miyajima Pier and a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine. Although it is not a hot spring, the large public bath is very spacious and the observation public bath on the top floor allows you to take a bath while looking out at the Seto Inland Sea. For meals, there is a plan where you can enjoy not only seafood such as abalone and spiny lobster, but also Hiroshima beef! The view of the sea from the large windows is wonderful, so if you can reserve a room facing the sea, we recommend it.

  • A hotel where you can experience a truly Japanese experience

  • We recommend this hotel on Miyajima. The hotel mainly features Japanese-style rooms, and you can see the large torii gate from the spacious and tasteful public bath. The Japanese drum demonstration incorporating light effects is a must-see, and the delicate Japanese Japanese food made with local ingredients such as oysters in winter and conger eel in summer is a feast for the eyes and the mouth. It is also close to Itsukushima Shrine and the sightseeing boat dock, so we recommend taking a night cruise.
