Please let me know about sightseeing attractions and recommended accommodations around Itsukushima Shrine.
I'm planning to take my 80-year-old mother to Itsukushima Shrine around autumn. We'll be exploring for 2 nights and 3 days, so please let me know the places that are definitely worth seeing. My mother writes haiku as a hobby, so she says that anything can be a subject, but are there any spots that give a sense of the season?

- There is a free shuttle bus from Miyajimaguchi Station, so it's easy to get to, and the rooms are spacious, so I recommend this one. The ocean-facing rooms have a Breathtaking view view, and you might even be inspired to write a haiku. The baths are also relaxing, so I recommend it.はがせとうち's answer (Posted on:2023/11/27)

Take a look at the islands of Setouchi
- The first recommended accommodation is the Aki Grand Hotel, located opposite Itsukushima Shrine. It is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs. Aside from the shrine, the recommended tourist spot on Itsukushima is the view of the islands of Setouchi from the top of the mountain. The view of Setouchi is also written about in the Hyakunin Isshu.なな's answer (Posted on:2016/11/29)
