  • Please tell me a recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Atami in winter where I can enjoy a private open-air bath with my family.

I'm going on a family trip to a hot spring. We've decided to go to Atami, but since we're here, we'd like to stay at Ryokan (Japanese inn) that has a private open-air bath where our family of four can enjoy the hot springs. Please let me know if there are any recommended inns in Atami that can accommodate one night and two days for less than 20,000 yen per person per night!

New Tomiyoshi

1472-1 Shimotaga, Atami-shi

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a private open-air bath in Atami

  • At Minami Atami's Aji to Yu no Yado New Tomiyoshi, in addition to the garden-style open-air bath, you can use three private open-air baths 24 hours a day for free. There are also rooms with open-air baths. The food is very delicious, with seasonal seafood, and the portions are generous, so you'll be very satisfied. I recommend it.

TKP Hotel and Resort Lecturer Atami Momoyama

11-44, Momoyamacho

  • A good value hotel with a private bath

  • If you're on a budget, I recommend this place. Although it's not a guest room, there is a private open-air bath, so you can relax and enjoy it. It's easy to stay there for about 10,000 yen, the rooms are clean, and the beds are spacious, so I recommend it.

Tsukino Sumika Atami Juraku Hotel

2-19 Taharahonmachi Atami

  • Private open-air bath in Atami

  • "Tsuki no Sumika Atami Juraku Hotel" is a 3-minute walk from JR Tokaido Line Atami Station. You can rent an open-air bath for free and the hot spring is 100% natural hot spring. The accommodation fee varies depending on the day, but I think it will be within 20,000 yen per person per night.

Atami Onsen Sakuraya Ryokan

Higashi Kaigancho 9-11

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) close to the station

  • It's very convenient, about a 5-minute walk from Atami Station. Although it's a long-established inn, it allows early check-in and late check-out, so you can relax at your leisure. There are Ryokan (Japanese inn) with open-air baths, so you can bathe whenever you want and enjoy the hot springs without worrying about other people.

Grand View Atami

8-9 Sakimi-cho, Atami-shi

  • Condominium type and spacious!

  • This is an apartment-style condominium hotel with spacious rooms that are perfect for families to relax in. There are many baths where you can enjoy the natural hot 100% natural hot spring, so it will meet your needs. The location, within walking distance of Atami Station, is also an attractive feature.

  • Enjoy a private open-air bath while looking out at the sea.

  • This inn has a private open-air bath. You can stretch your legs out in the bathtub while looking at the blue waters of Sagami Bay and the night view. The bathtub is lit up, and the harmony between the wood and the light is fantastic. The rooms also have ocean views, making the most of Atami's location. You can stay for around 10,000 yen depending on the day. I think it's a great inn.

  • Both adults and children can relax here.

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located near the center of Atami, and it's quite nice. independent guest cottages is especially great. The garden is nice, and it makes you forget that you're in the middle of town (especially since you can't imagine there being a supermarket right next door). The food is mainly freshly caught seafood. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't much meat. However, independent guest cottages may be a bit over your budget. But I recommend it.
