This is a large hotel in Kami-Suwa Onsen, Nagano Prefecture. There are many "breweries" around Kami-Suwa Onsen, where you can drink local sake. I think there was a plan to tour the sake breweries. There are also several breweries within walking distance. The hotel is large and impressive, and very comfortable. The open-air bath was amazing.

I recommend Hotel Saginoyu in Kami-Suwa Onsen, Shinshu. This hotel offers a plan for touring sake breweries. I personally enjoy walking around, but being able to efficiently visit sake breweries within a plan is also a great attraction. The location in front of Lake Suwa means the scenery is beautiful. The hot springs are also very comfortable. This is a recommended hotel.
