  • Iwasaki Hotel
  • Please tell me Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ibusuki that has a sand bath and delicious food. My budget is about 15,000 yen per person.

I have a child who is in junior high school and will be taking the high school entrance exam next year. Since he will be busy with the exam, I would like to take family trip to Ibusuki in Kagoshima for two nights and three days this year. Please let me know where I can stay and enjoy a sand bath and delicious food.

Iwasaki Hotel

3805-1 Juuni-cho, Ibusuki

  • There is also a sand bath, so you can enjoy the resort atmosphere.

  • Ibusuki Iwasaki Hotel is a great place to stay because you can enjoy the hot springs and see the ocean. There is also a sand bath inside the hotel, and after the sand bath, I felt great in the open-air bath overlooking the ocean. It's especially good to bathe while watching the sunrise. The food is also decent, and the whole family can enjoy it.

Kagoshima Sunamushionsen Ibusuki Hakusuikan

  • The food is delicious and the sand bath is fun.

  • You asked for Ryokan (Japanese inn) with delicious food, and this Ryokan (Japanese inn) has long been awarded various prizes as the best Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Japan for its delicious cuisine. In the past, they served sashimi in a snow igloo-style dish, but now they have changed to a presentation that shows off the ingredients more, and the food has developed into something even more appetizing. It's the perfect inn for food lovers. The famous sand bath is not inside the inn, but in a public sand bath nearby, but it's only a short walk so it's not a hassle at all.

  • A relaxing and comfortable inn with a sand bath nearby

  • There are many famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ibusuki, but Ginmatsu is a little smaller, but it is very relaxing. Meals are served in private rooms (in-room dining may also be available). It was fun to fry the famous Satsumaage on the spot, and the other dishes were also delicious. Prices vary depending on the room and food, so it's best to choose one that fits your budget. We didn't choose the most luxurious plan, but the room was clean and spacious enough for two people, with a great view, and it was Ryokan (Japanese inn) that I would like to stay at again. There were about three private family baths.

Ibusuki Seaside Hotel

  • There are sand baths and hot springs, the food is delicious, and the view is Breathtaking view!

  • The sand bath is charged separately from the accommodation fee, but the rooms are spacious and there are other baths besides the sand bath. You can take commemorative photos in the sand bath, which will surely be a good memory. The portions of food are plentiful, so children will be satisfied. Of course, adults can enjoy it too.

Ibusuki Royal Hotel

  • There is a minibus shuttle to the sand bath hot springs.

  • A beautiful view of the ocean. The hot spring is rich in collagen, known as Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty) and has excellent moisturizing effects. There is also an open-air bath along the coast. A shuttle bus is provided to take you to and from the famous sand bath, which is very convenient. Dinner was a Japanese meal filled with seasonal seafood and mountain produce. Breakfast was a Japanese and Western Buffet, where you could enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients from Ibusuki.

Ryokan Ibusuki training

  • An inn with a tropical atmosphere

  • To get to Ibusuki Onsen, there is a direct bus from Kagoshima Airport. It takes a little time, but you can get there without getting lost. The famous natural sand bath is located on the beach on the coast. It is a unique bathing experience where you cover yourself with sand, but even if your body gets dirty, you can wash it off comfortably and there are facilities nearby, so you don't have to worry. Now, Ibusuki Shusuien is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is said to have been ranked number one in the food category of the 100 Best Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) selected by professionals for over 30 years in a row. I stayed at this inn for two nights, and the food was amazing. The prices are a little high, but it is sure to be a memory that will last a lifetime.

  • As it is a holiday village, there are also hands-on events.

  • There is a sand bath, a specialty of Ibusuki. The venue is very spacious, and you can sweat comfortably while enjoying the open feeling. Afterwards, you can feel even more refreshed in the open-air bath, which is full of freedom, and you can immerse yourself in the best mood. The meal is a half-Buffet style, with a mini kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )and a wide variety of Buffet, so the whole family can enjoy it. Because it is a vacation village, there are also fun interaction programs.

Ibusuki Onsen Hotel Shogetsu

  • The rooms are clean and the food is delicious.

  • The sand bath is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean and tidy. What impressed me most was that I burned my calf in the sand bath, and I couldn't even soak in the bath after Golden Week (early-May holiday season in Japan) bath, so I cooled my calf with cold water, but it still hurt, so I asked reception desk at the Coral Beach hotel for some ice, and they brought me a lot of ice right away. Thanks to them, my burn healed. I remember being grateful that they were accommodating me even though there were a lot of customers during Golden Week.
