  • Naruko Hotel
  • Please tell me a hotel in Naruko Onsen, Miyagi Prefecture, where elderly people can easily enjoy the hot springs.

I will be staying at Naruko Onsen with my elderly mother. I think it would be difficult to find a hotel with many steps, so I would like a hotel with facilities such as handrails and slopes. It doesn't have to be completely barrier-free. Please tell me a recommended hotel with good quality hot springs for about 10,000 yen per night. I would like a hotel with good quality hot springs.

Naruko Hotel

36 Yumoto, Naruko Onsen, Osaki-shi

  • A hotel with a large public bath and good service

  • The large public bath has a relaxing atmosphere where the water is gentle on the skin, so this hotel is a good choice if you want to enjoy hot springs. The Japanese-style rooms have few steps, so even people with weak legs and hips can easily stay here, and the overall space is spacious, so it is safe for wheelchair users.

  • This hotel is representative of Naruko Onsen.

  • This is a 140-year-old hotel that represents Naruko Onsen, so I highly recommend it. Naruko Hotel is the only place where you can enjoy hot spring water from three sources. The thick, serum-like hot spring water was amazing. It is not completely barrier-free, but it is a hotel that is considerate of the elderly, with wheelchairs available for rental and handrails in the large communal bath.

  • Reasonable hotel

  • If you are looking for a reasonably priced barrier-free hot spring in Naruko Onsen, I recommend "Naruko Hotel." It is not completely barrier-free, but they have eliminated steps as much as possible. There were many places with handrails. Please consider it.

  • Affordable and spacious hotel

  • If you are going to Naruko Onsen to recuperate, I recommend the Naruko Ryokan (Japanese inn). You can stay here for a price close to your budget. The roads are wide and there are handrails and ramps, so I think it can be said to be barrier-free. Please consider staying there.

  • This is a recommended inn for a hot spring trip.

  • This is a recommended hotel in Naruko Onsen town, Miyazaki Prefecture. The hotel has been designed to be barrier-free, with wheelchair ramps and handrails in the large baths. The staff are friendly and polite, making this a hotel with excellent hospitality.

  • The rooms are spacious and the prices are reasonable

  • There are several inns with hot springs in Naruko Onsen, but if you are looking for a recommended inn with good quality water for around 10,000 yen per night, Naruko Hotel should be one of your options. The rooms are spacious and the rates are reasonable. Some rooms have a foot bath, so if you want to enjoy Naruko Onsen to the fullest while looking at the scenery, this is the place to stay.

  • The hotel is comfortable with few steps.

  • If you are looking for a barrier-free hotel in Naruko, we recommend Naruko Hotel. It is a large hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn), but it is designed with few steps and is almost barrier-free. The meals are delicious, with a focus on fresh local produce, as well as seafood and mountain produce.

  • If you use a wheelchair, you must contact us in advance.

  • Although it is not completely barrier-free, we recommend the Naruko Hotel in Naruko Onsen. Handrails are provided even for very small steps. The same is true for the large public bath. Most areas where you will be moving during your stay can be accessed by wheelchair.

  • Disabled-friendly hotel

  • This is the most barrier-free inn in the Naruko Onsen area. Although it is not completely barrier-free, it does have ramps and handrails in the large bath. Chairs can be provided for both in-room dining and in the dining room (reservations required). Some of the baths are family-friendly, so it is perfect for those who value privacy.

  • You can enjoy the 100% natural hot spring

  • The rooms are decorated with warm wood, and we especially recommend the ones with an open-air foot bath. Japanese and Western room-Western style, so we think everyone in the family will be satisfied, regardless of age. There are many types of baths, making it feel like a small super public bath. As for the quality of the spring water, it is 100% natural hot spring in Naruko, so this is another point that we can recommend.

  • There is a hot spring with handrails.

  • The hot springs, which they are proud of, have a sulphurous scent and a viscous texture that feels good on the skin. The water changes colour depending on the outside air and humidity, and it is safe to enter as it is a hand rub. You can enjoy a Japanese banquet meal filled with plenty of fresh seafood and seasonal mountain delicacies in the privacy of your own room. This is an inn that even the elderly can easily use.

  • The staff are friendly, the spring quality is good, and the bath is spacious.

  • I don't remember the details very well. The hotel was spacious overall, even for elderly people, with no steps in the rooms, and no large or tall washrooms or toilets. The quality of the spring water was excellent, and the large public bath had handrails. The restaurant also had spacious seating, and the food was well-prepared. I told them in advance that there was something I couldn't eat, and they were happy to change it to a different menu, and I also asked to eat on a chair, and they were very accommodating to my requests, changing from in-room dining. The buffet seems to be popular, too. The staff were very friendly, and I had the impression that I was able to relax for the price. I didn't use it, but the private open-air bath seems to be popular, too.

  • This hotel is more barrier-free than other hotels.

  • This is a representative hotel in Naruko Onsen, and they also put a lot of effort into making it barrier-free. There is a wheelchair ramp at the entrance, and you can enter the lobby without any steps. The dining area also has space for wheelchairs, and if you would like to eat in your room, they will accommodate you if you apply in advance. The baths are barrier-free, with handrails and private baths available for a fee. Prices vary depending on the season, but if you use Buffet plan, you can enjoy a meal for less than 10,000 yen.
