I want to go on a trip to Kagoshima! Are there any recommended lodgings where I can take a sand bath?
We are married couple in our 30s living in Tokyo who are planning a trip to Kagoshima for 2 nights and 3 days in early February. Please let me know of any lodgings that have sand baths or are close to sand bath spots. If there are any hot springs with Breathtaking view view, such as one with a view of Sakurajima, I would like to try them.

- I haven't been there yet, but I saw it mentioned as a popular hotel on the internet. However, I think that not only can you enjoy hot spring and the scenery, but the hotel staff have a high level of customer service, so you can have a comfortable stay. Just a great hotel!
- Enjoy the steam bath in Ibusuki. I visited Kagoshima last month. It is indeed the gateway to southern Kyushu. There are many delicious foods such as mackerel, kibinago, Kagoshima beef and pork. In the city, "Shiroyama Hotel Kagoshima" is the best hotel! You will understand if you go there. We were really satisfied with the staff and the food. There is a shuttle bus to the station and the astronomical museum. It is close by cab, though. Please go there by all means. There is an open-air observation deck overlooking Sakurajima and Kagoshima city from the hilltop.
