• Convenient hotel near the station

• Chinatown is at Motomachi Station, but the neighboring Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station are connected by a shopping street, and it takes 1 minute by train or about 5 minutes on foot. (If you lived there in the past, you may know this.) The start of the Luminarie is near Motomachi Station, but the finish is in Sannomiya. JR, Hankyu, Hanshin, Port Liner, and subway lines are all at Sannomiya Station, so I recommend staying in Sannomiya, shopping while walking around Center Street, and eating in Chinatown.

During the Luminarie period, there are some traffic restrictions, and you may have to take a detour from Motomachi or Sannomiya Station to the Luminarie area when going out at night or on your way home, which can be a bit of a hassle. For this reason, Hotel Okura, which is close to Motomachi and located independent guest cottages from the station from the Luminarie area, is relatively unaffected by traffic restrictions and is convenient. Although it is a luxury hotel, it can be within your budget if you choose the right plan and date, and it is also convenient that there is a shuttle bus to Sannomiya on weekdays and to Shin-Kobe on weekends and holidays.

• Just a one-minute walk from JR Motomachi Station

• The best thing about this hotel is that it's reasonably priced! It's located in front of JR and Hanshin Motomachi Station, and is conveniently located within walking distance of tourist spots such as Nankinmachi (Chinatown), Meriken Park, and Harborland. The rooms are also nice! The Wi-Fi and other internet connections were also good.
