I want to go see Mt. Fuji on New Year's Day. Can you recommend an inn with a hot spring?
I'm traveling with my mother. We don't mind if we go by car or train, but I'd be grateful if you could recommend a nice, clean inn with an open-air bath and that serves New Year's-style food.

- The best way to get there is by ferry from Shimizu Port. The view of Mt. Fuji floating in Suruga Bay is spectacular. Mt. Fuji is especially white in winter, and the air at the venue is clear, making it a sight to behold. I also recommend a walk around the old gold mine from the hot spring area.
