I'm planning to go see the "Snow Kamakura" in Akita in February next year. I'm going with three friends. I'd like to pay around 20,000 yen per person per night. Are there any cozy inns where I can enjoy the famous Kiritanpo hotpot and take a bath in hot spring?

There is a bathing facility adjacent to the hotel where you can enjoy natural hot springs. It is located in front of Yokote Station, so it is easily accessible and is a great hotel for sightseeing. There are also restaurants nearby, so I recommend eating Kiritanpo nabe there.

The Kamakura in Yokote is an event worth seeing. However, since it takes place during the cold season, it's a good idea to choose a place to stay that will warm you to the core. We recommend Yokote Ekimae Onsen Yuyu Plaza. It is equipped with natural hot springs, so it is recommended if you are going with a group!

There were not many hotels in Yokote, and most of them were business hotels. Also, the hotels quickly filled up, so it was difficult to find a place to stay. If you are looking for convenience, Yokote Ekimae hot spring Yuyu Plaza, located in front of the station, is convenient. The spring water is good and hot spring feels good. I couldn't stay overnight, so I just dropped in, but it is a recommended hot spring. I stayed in Kakunodate, which is a little independent guest cottages from Yokote, because I was driving. I can't recommend it if you don't have a car, but... If you see the snow igloos in Yokote and hurry back to Kakunodate, you will be able to make it in time for dinner. It was a delicious dinner (I was able to choose the Kiritanpo hotpot course). Unfortunately, the hotel is not hot spring (there is no large public bath), but if you really want to take a bath in hot spring, there is hot spring like a public bath nearby, so you can take hot spring there.

When I told the staff that it was my husband's birthday, they served us two glasses of wine for free. It was nice to be able to eat leisurely at the restaurant right across from the room. The food was very delicious and the kiritanpo nabe was also very tasteful and worth trying. I also recommend taking a cruise around nearby Lake Tazawa the next day.
