I'm going to Izumo Taisha Shrine on my first solo travel. I'd like to know about a clean hotel in Izumo City that's recommended for women. My budget is 15,000 yen or less per night. Please let me know what hotels you recommend.

It is the fourth station from Izumo-shi Station on the JR San-in Main Line, but it is a 5-minute walk from Oda Station. The hotel is clean, and all the staff I met were really nice. How about this hotel in front of Izumo Station? I think it's the cleanest hotel around the station. It's run by the Ichibata Electric Railway Group, and gives the impression of being a slightly better hotel in the countryside. It may not be as good as a high-class hotel in the city, but it is clean enough. It had a safe atmosphere even for women traveling alone. You can check in right after exiting the ticket gate (there seems to be a direct exit), so you can check in without getting wet even in bad weather. I think it was around 8,000 to 10,000 yen for a single room. It may be more expensive than usual due to the Great Shrine Transfer, but I think it will fit within your budget even in the months of the gods in October and November.
