  • Yufuin Hotel
  • I'm going to travel to Yufuin with my wife and 2-year-old child in the winter. Are there any inns with hot spring that family can enter?

I'd like to enjoy the hot springs of Yufuin with my family. Small children have delicate skin, so a mild hot spring would be ideal. Are there any hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that are OK for small children?

Yufuin Hotel

  • A hot spring inn with a main building and a traditional Japanese-style independent guest cottages

  • This is a hideaway inn located just off the main street of Yufuin in Oita Prefecture. In addition to the main building, there is a traditional Japanese-style independent guest cottages available for rent, so even families with small children can stay here without worry. You can refresh yourself after a long day of travel in the private bath.

  • A relaxing inn with private baths

  • Hello, I think this "Hoteiya" might fit your ideal. It's a place surrounded by nature, so the air is very clear and the view is beautiful. The rooms are independent guest cottages, so you can relax in your own private space without worrying about the people around you. There is also a private hot spring, so you can all relax together.

  • Hanare no inn

  • If you have a budget of 15,000 yen, why not try staying at "Yufuin Hoteiya" in Yufuin? Basically, all the guest rooms are independent guest cottages buildings, so even if you have small children, you don't have to worry about them. All the rooms also have hot springs. There are also private baths.

  • It's ok to have small children

  • Although it is a little independent guest cottages from JR Yufuin Station (it takes about 8 minutes by bus), how about "Hoteiya"? There is a main building and an annex. It is a traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs, and it has a few independent guest cottages rooms, so it is an inn that places importance on hospitality. It has an atmosphere like a hidden village.

  • A homely hideaway

  • Although it is a little independent guest cottages from the main street of Yufuin, it is a quiet inn with a hideaway atmosphere. The food is delicious in the old-style thatched-roof building, and we were able to relax when we stayed there with our family. It is on the affordable side of Yufuin Onsen, so I think it will be fine on a budget. There is a main building and a new building, so you should consider your budget and the availability of rooms.
