  • Togetsutei Hotel
  • We are planning a trip Kyoto to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and enjoy the autumn leaves. Can you tell me where we can stay for 4 people for under 100,000 yen per night?

I'm planning a trip to Kyoto to see the autumn leaves and celebrate my parents-in-law's golden wedding anniversary. I'd like to find a place where I can treat them well and that they'll be happy, but since I'm pregnant, I'm looking for a place with good transportation access and flexible food options. I'd like two rooms for under 100,000 yen per night for four people. Do you have any recommendations?

Togetsutei Hotel

54-4 Nakao Shitamachi, Nishikyo-ku

  • The view of Arashiyama is beautiful

  • The inn is surrounded by nature, and you can enjoy the tranquil scenery. It is also ideal for strolling around Arashiyama and Sagano. The food is luxurious, using local seasonal ingredients, and is delicious in both quality and quantity. As you would expect from a long-established restaurant, it has a sense of style and atmosphere, and is relaxing and soothing.

Hotel Okura Kyoto

Kawara-machi-dori,nijominamiiru ichinofunairicho537-4, Nakagyo-ku

  • Enjoy autumn in Kyoto to the fullest at a luxurious hotel

  • The hotel is conveniently located on the second basement floor of Kyoto City Hall Station, directly connected to the hotel, so pregnant women can rest assured. You can go to Sagano or have dinner in the Kawaramachi area, so you'll have plenty of options for sightseeing and dining. It gets crowded on weekends, but you can make reservations on weekdays, and it's possible to spend less than 100,000 yen for four people.

ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kyoto

Nakagyo-ku Horikawa-dori Nijojo-mae

  • A hotel located close to Nijo Castle

  • This is a modern hotel right in front of Nijo Castle. The best thing about this hotel is the amazing night view of Nijo Castle. As for transportation, it is conveniently located right next to Nijojo-mae Station on the Tozai subway line. As for food, you can choose from Japanese to Chinese cuisine at this hotel, so you can choose according to how you feel that day.

Kyoto Tower Hotel

  • Kyoto Tower allows you to enjoy sightseeing and the scenery

  • This hotel is located near Kyoto Tower, which is used on postcards of Kyoto sightseeing. Every time you see Kyoto Tower in the media, you will remember your trip to Kyoto. This is a great hotel for making memories. It is directly connected to the station, so it is easy to get around. It is also convenient for sightseeing in the city, as it is close to the bus terminal. The rooms are stylish with a modern Japanese design, but calm and relaxing.

Kyoto Nanzenji Ryokan Yachiyo

34 Nanzenji Fukuji-cho Sakyo-ku

  • You can eat Nanzenji's specialty, Yudofu

  • Kyoto has many shrines and temples, so we highly recommend it for sightseeing, walking, and viewing the autumn leaves! It is an area that attracts guests from all over the world all year round. This Ryokan (Japanese inn) is easily accessible by Kyoto city bus and subway. There is a garden and Japanese-style rooms where you can enjoy the Japanese atmosphere, and the rooms also have an open-air bath. For meals, you can enjoy seasonal Kyoto cuisine that gives you a taste of Kyoto, as well as Nanzenji's specialty, yudofu.

Seikoro Ryokan

467 Nishitachibana-cho, Higashiyama-ku

  • Celebrate your anniversary at a prestigious hotel

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a restaurant full of Taisho-era romance, so I think it's the perfect Ryokan (Japanese inn) for anniversaries. You can independent guest cottages the world and relax, and it's also friendly to pregnant women. As it's a restaurant Ryokan (Japanese inn), the food is wonderful and delicious, and they can tailor it to your tastes in detail. New Year

73-6 Ejiri Miyazu

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a view of Amanohashidate and Aso Sea

  • This is a very nice Ryokan (Japanese inn). I think it's perfect for a golden wedding anniversary. And it's nice that it's quiet and relaxing. You can see Amanohashidate, one of the Three Most Scenic Views of Japan, and Aso Sea from all rooms, making it an even better memory. You can relax in the Nariai Kannon Onsen and enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients from Tango. Amanohashidate is about a 5-minute walk from the inn, so in addition to enjoying the view from your room, it's also recommended to walk around Amanohashidate. There are also shrines and shops in the area, so it's nice to enjoy a leisurely stroll.

Towa Ryokan

Shimogyo-ku Mongaku-cho 395

  • A quiet Ryokan (Japanese inn) a little independent guest cottages from Kyoto Station

  • Considering their age, as it was their golden wedding anniversary, we thought it would be better to have a Japanese-style room, which is more comfortable, rather than a modern Western-style hotel. It is a small, comfortable Ryokan (Japanese inn), located just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. For dinner, we had a delicious Kyoto kaiseki meal, which allowed us to fully experience the flavors of Kyoto. For breakfast, we had the Kyoto breakfast "Obanzai," which allowed us to enjoy Kyoto culture.

Rokkaku-dori Higashinotoin Higashi-iru, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto-shi

  • The staff are very friendly and helpful.

  • I stayed here during the cherry blossom season. It's not a big Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the biggest attraction is the attentiveness of the staff. I also took my mother there, and I was moved by the thoughtfulness shown to my elderly mother. The facilities were clean and excellent. I also enjoyed the hot springs. It's located near the Tetsugakudo temple, so it's a good location for both shopping and sightseeing.
