I'm going on a bicycle trip on the Shimanami Kaido! Can you recommend a place to stay that offers "unpretentious hospitality"?
I'm planning a cycling trip with 3 friends on the Shimanami Kaido. We're planning to take our time and move around, but which accommodations are recommended? If you have experience, please let me know.

- I used to go to Shimanami a lot for work. I stayed at a lot of Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the best one was "Sawaki Ryokan (Japanese inn)" located right next to Oyamazumi Shrine on Omishima Island. It's a down-to-earth Ryokan (Japanese inn). The food was delicious, mainly seafood. I remember being able to relax in the private bath.AKIO's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)
