- Tenryu-ji Temple, which is also registered as a World Heritage Site, is also recommended as sacred places. The inn is very convenient as a base for sightseeing around Arashiyama. Nonomiya Shrine is close enough to walk to through the bamboo forest, and I feel like I received a blessing from it. It is a small, cozy and cute shrine. If you take a bus and go a little further, you can also go to Suzumushi-dera Temple, where the Jizo of Happiness is located. This is also recommended as sacred places.
