My Australian friend will be coming to Japan to ski in the new year. I'd like to take him to the slopes in Hokkaido, so please let me know if you have any recommendations. Ideally, a place that has rental wear and shower rooms in the guest rooms would be ideal.

If you want to ski, Niseko has great snow quality and is definitely recommended. I think it's famous in Australia too. Hirafutei is close to the slopes and is recommended. The facilities are not new but clean. They are not purely Japanese style, but many of the rooms have open-air baths. Open-air baths in the rooms are considered high-class, but you can stay here for a relatively reasonable price. The dinner Buffet is also recommended. There is a wide selection of tempura and grilled dishes made with locally produced ingredients, so you can enjoy Hokkaido to the fullest. I'm sure your overseas friends will be satisfied after soothing their skiing fatigue in the hot springs.きんぎょ's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)
