What are some recommended accommodations in the Kansai area where I can experience Shukubo lodging?
I'm interested in experiencing Shukubo lodging. I'd like to go in the season when the autumn leaves are beautiful. Are there Shukubo where I can experience morning religious services and zazen, eat vegetarian cuisine, and feel comfortable even for beginners?

- It's located inside Chion-in Temple, so it's very accessible! It serves kaiseki (traditional Japanese course meal) instead of shojin ryori (vegetarian cuisine), and the menu includes fish and meat, which is a novelty compared to other Shukubo. However, you can still participate in the copying of sutras and morning memorial services.
