  • What are some recommended accommodations in the Kansai area where I can experience Shukubo lodging?

I'm interested in experiencing Shukubo lodging. I'd like to go in the season when the autumn leaves are beautiful. Are there Shukubo where I can experience morning religious services and zazen, eat vegetarian cuisine, and feel comfortable even for beginners?

  • The Chishaku-in Hall in Kyoto is easily accessible from Kyoto Station and is close to Sanjusangendo and the Kyoto National Museum.
