  • Naruko Hotel
  • An inn in Naruko Onsen where you can enjoy not only hot springs but also unique baths

I'm going on my first trip to a hot spring with my boyfriend. We'll be going to Naruko Onsen, but I'd like to know if there are any inns that have more unique hot springs or bathing methods.

Naruko Hotel

36 Yumoto, Naruko Onsen, Osaki-shi

  • A relaxing inn with the aroma of Sennen no Yu hot springs

  • The sulfur springs from three private hot springs change color from clear to milky white to warbler green depending on the outside air and humidity, allowing you to enjoy a different atmosphere every time you visit. It is said to be effective for beautifying the skin, gynecological diseases, neuralgia, etc., and can be enjoyed in two large baths and an open-air bath with different atmospheres. Men and women are switched in the morning and evening, and bathing is available 24 hours a day. There are also many plans available that allow you to spend a relaxing time in the relaxing guest rooms and enjoy the subtle changes of the seasons.

Yumoto Kissho Naruko Hot Spring

58-10 Yumoto

  • The open-air bath, whose atmosphere changes completely when you step into the walkway, is definitely worth a look.

  • The spring quality of Naruko Onsen is a milky white sulfur spring. This luxury inn is designed to allow you to enjoy a variety of baths. In particular, the open-air bath, which changes its atmosphere completely through the walkway, is also wonderful, and the food is both elegant and beautiful to look at. I was full after eating so much.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari

17 Kurumayu Narukoonsen

  • This hot spring has three different sources.

  • If you are looking for a place to stay in Naruko Onsen, we recommend Oedo Onsen Monogatari Naruko Onsen Kounkaku. The hot springs used in the baths are black water, white water, and mixed water, so it is also recommended for those who like hot springs. It is also nice that you can enjoy freshly cooked meals in a live kitchen format. There is also a large open-air bath with a view of the mountains, so it is recommended for its openness.

Ubanoyu

  • A popular inn for those seeking a cure, boasting hot springs

  • This is a small Ryokan (Japanese inn) with less well-equipped facilities than larger hotels and luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn), but its hot springs and baths are extremely popular. Here, you can enjoy four different springs in each bath: simple spring, Glauber's salt spring, sodium bicarbonate spring, and sulfur spring. If you want to enjoy Naruko no Yu to the fullest, this inn is recommended. The bathtub is small, but you can enjoy the water straight from the source without adding water or heating.

Genzo no Yu Naruko Kanko Hotel

41 Yumoto, Naruko-cho, Tamatsukuri-gun

  • An inn where you can enjoy a unique bath

  • Here you can enjoy 400 years of history in hot spring water, which can be used at your leisure 24 hours a day. In a rare bathing experience, the open-air bath is connected to the large public bath, allowing you to enjoy a soak to cool down your body after warming up in the large public bath. The rooms are bright and slightly modern, giving off an intelligent atmosphere. The tatami mats, walls and ceiling are beautifully unified, giving off a relaxing atmosphere. The food is rich, with Sendai beef as the main dish, making it a great place for couples to enjoy.

Yusaya Ryokan

84 Yumoto, Naruko Onsen, Osaki-shi

  • Three types of high-quality hot springs, including the smooth alkaline "Unagi-yu" hot spring, are attractive

  • Naruko Onsen town is filled with the aroma of hot springs, and this inn boasts a 400-year tradition. Its two-story wooden structure is a purely Japanese building that is a national "Registered Tangible Cultural Property." The hotel is filled with a retro-modern atmosphere, which alone makes it worth staying at! Check out this retro hot spring inn, where you can enjoy three types of hot springs: the slippery alkaline "Unagi-yu" bath, the refreshing sulfur spring communal bath "Taki-no-yu," and the private open-air bath "Akane-no-yu" surrounded by nature in independent guest cottages building.

Ryokan Onuma

  • Aromatic bath "Fukashi bath"

  • How about trying the aromatic bath "Fukashi-furo"? The hot spring heat is transferred from the floor, providing a deep relaxation effect. Since it is not a hot spring bath, you can stay fully clothed in the bath. Private use is also possible.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Naruko Onsen Masuya

82 Yumoto, Naruko Onsen, Osaki-shi

  • A hotel where you can enjoy Breathtaking view from the open-air bath on the top floor

  • It's not particularly unusual, but the view from the open-air bath on the top floor is amazing, so I recommend this inn. After getting out of the bath, there's no shortage of entertainment, with a karaoke room, a games corner, a table tennis corner, and a manga corner. Meals are served Buffet style, with a huge variety of menu items, and there's also an all-you-can-drink plan, so it's perfect for people who like alcohol.
