  • Kotohira Kadan
  • A lodging where you can enjoy seafood at Konpira Onsen

I'm going to celebrate my husband's birthday at a hotel in Konpira Onsen. I'd like to be able to enjoy my husband's favorite seafood in a private room or in the room at my leisure. Are there any recommended hotels?

Kotohira Kadan

1241-5 Kotohira-cho, Nakatado-gun

  • A lodging where you can enjoy the bounty of Setouchi.

  • This inn is located at the starting point of the path to Konpira Shrine. The meals are mainly seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, due to the location. The main dishes are sea bream and flounder sashimi. Olive beef, a specialty of Kagawa Prefecture, is soft and the more you chew it, the more the olive aroma spreads in your mouth.

Konpira-Onsen Yachiyo

  • Both dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room attached to the room.

  • Both dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room attached to the room. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from Takamatsu Road Zentsuji IC on Route 319 towards Kotohira. You can choose from a variety of kaiseki meals, featuring seasonal ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea. You can relax while looking at the view of Mount Konpira from the open-air bath. The earth-containing salt spring water is expected to be effective against rheumatism and neurological diseases.

Kotosankaku Hotel

685-11 Kotohira-cho, Nakatado-Gun

  • A hotel where you can fully enjoy hot springs in a spacious public bath

  • Kotosankaku is an inn where you can enjoy natural hot springs in a spacious large bath and an open-air bath. The inn is also popular for its meals, which use plenty of local ingredients from Shikoku and Kagawa Prefecture, including fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. Some rooms have plans where you can eat dinner in a private room, so married couple can enjoy a meal together.

Yumoto Kompira Onsen Hananoyu Koubaitei

556-1 Kotohira-Cho, Nakatado-Gun

  • You can dine comfortably in a private room.

  • You can enjoy your meal in a private room. The texture of the sashimi is good, and the lobster teppanyaki is also very satisfying. Breakfast is a buffet. The large public bath is located in the basement and on the first floor, and there is also a private open-air bath on the eighth floor. The open-air bath in the large public bath is large, and there is a pleasant breeze, so you can take your time bathing.

Onyado Shikishimakan - Kotohira Hotspring

713-1 Kawanishi, Kotohiracho

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with delicious meals and a variety of baths to enjoy

  • The Shikishimakan building was constructed in the Meiji period and has a very elegant feel. It has been beautifully renovated with a modern Japanese style while retaining its good qualities. The rooms are not purely Japanese, but a mix of Japanese and Western styles, but they are barrier-free and spacious, allowing you to relax comfortably. In addition to the open-air bath, there are four private open-air baths that can be used at any time. Meals are not served in the rooms, but in private rooms or at the dining area, but there is ample consideration given to the risk of infection, so you can rest assured. Dinner is delicious, and breakfast even comes with local Sanuki udon noodles, making it a fun experience.
