The sound of the ocean waves is also soothing. The food is both seafood and mountain produce that is unique to Shizuoka. In particular, the seafood sashimi, simmered golden-eyed snapper, and spiny lobster are the best. The horse mackerel filleted for breakfast is different from the ones in Tokyo, and is fatty and delicious, making it a great choice for rice. The spiny lobster miso soup is also a great supporting role that you can't miss.
