Matsunoyu Hotel

1215 Tamayucho-Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • You can enjoy seafood from the Sea of Japan

  • How about "Matsunoyu"? There is a free shuttle from JR Tamatsukuri Onsen Station, so it is convenient. You can relax while looking at the Japanese garden from the large bath. The sulfate spring water has a skin-beautifying effect. For meals, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal using seasonal ingredients from Shimane, and you can eat seafood from the Sea of Japan.

Shiraishiya

  • Delicious kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using ingredients from Shimane Prefecture

  • You can enjoy the bounty of the mountains and the sea from Shimane Prefecture. Dinner was a Japanese course meal that could be finished in about 2 hours. I was very satisfied with the appearance, taste and volume. The bath was on a rotation system and was very nice with a Japanese style.

  • The food and the elegant baths were both good.

  • How about "Hoseikan"? Depending on the accommodation plan, you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using local ingredients such as seasonal vegetables and Shimane Wagyu beef, as well as seafood such as crab. The guest rooms are elegant Japanese-style rooms, and there is also a charming garden-style open-air bath and a large public bath, making it a wonderful place.

Minami

Tamatsukuri Onsen, Tamayucho, Matsue

  • kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using the bounty of the Sea of Japan and Lake Shinji

  • If you are visiting Tamatsukuri Onsen, why not try Kasuien Minami? It is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on the banks of the Tamayu River. The beautiful Japanese garden inside the inn is very appealing. You can bathe in the hot spring water, which flows directly from the source, in four baths, including an open-air bath. The meals are kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )uses the bounty of the Sea of Japan and Lake Shinji. They use delicious ingredients such as Shimane Wagyu beef, blackthroat seaperch, crab, and clams. They also use Nita rice, which is highly recommended.

Hotel Gyokusen

Tamayucho Tamatsukuri 53-2

  • The luxurious kaiseki course is recommended

  • You can enjoy a high-class kaiseki meal using high-quality seafood and mountain produce. Local sake, draft beer, and soft drinks are available for free during the time. Dinner is a luxurious kaiseki meal that starts with a platter of five kinds of seasonal fish, Shimane Wagyu beef sukiyaki, stewed blackthroat seaperch, and stone-grilled abalone. In the morning, there is a Japanese and Western Buffet.

Ryotei Yamanoi Hotel

1042 Tamayu-cho Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • The open-air garden bath was great

  • This is a good value-for-money inn in Tamatsukuri Onsen. You can choose from a variety of dinner kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )to suit your budget, including crab dishes. You can enjoy Lake Shinji's specialty dishes and seasonal ingredients. The hot spring, known as the beauty water, also has an open-air bath in the garden, which made my skin smooth and comfortable.

  • Enjoy the luxury of seasonal ingredients

  • The food at this inn is so delicious! I think most Ryokan (Japanese inn) serve traditional Japanese banquet meals, but the food here is fresh and incorporates Western elements. I also like how they use seasonal ingredients and local specialties in abundance.

  • An inn where you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with the finest seasonal ingredients from Sanin

  • This long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) has been in business for over 150 years and is home to the largest Mixed-Gender Hot Springs open-air bath in Japan. There are separate open-air and indoor baths for men and women, as well as a family bath, so you can enjoy bathing with just friends. Depending on your budget, you can even stay in independent guest cottages with an open-air bath. After bathing, you can receive treatments at the relaxation and beauty and spa facilities. Dinner is kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that focuses on seasonal ingredients from Sanin throughout the year, including delicious Shimane wagyu beef, blackthroat seaperch, monkfish soy milk hotpot, crab, deep-fried pufferfish, and clam rice. In winter, there is also a crab full-course multi-course plan.
