• This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Tamatsukuri Onsen, south of Lake Shinji. Women can choose their favorite flower yukata at the flower yukata corner in the lobby. You can also enjoy the beautiful black granite indoor bath, the open-air bath, and the large bath that is made entirely of cypress, even to the bottom of the bathtub. Dinner is kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using Shimane Wagyu beef, Oki Matsuba crab, Nodoguro seabass, white squid, and other dishes, and breakfast is a Buffet with a wide variety of dishes, including special pancakes made with the Shiraishi family's original brown sugar syrup.

• This is the largest public bath in Tamatsukuri Onsen. There is a large rock-made indoor bath and an open-air bath made of cypress, so you can stretch your arms and legs out and relax. It is also nice that there are two types of dry sauna, one at high temperature and one at low temperature. After the bath, you can enjoy Nodoguro (rosy seabass), Tottori Wagyu beef, and of course large clams from Lake Shinji. Breakfast is buffet style and you can enjoy a variety of local dishes.

• At Tabitei Yamanoi, Buffet is served for breakfast. Buffet includes a menu using local ingredients. There is a wide variety of drinks and local sake, so it's a good deal to be able to try a variety of them. The Japanese banquet dinner was also quite luxurious. The bath had a nice atmosphere, with an open-air bath with a small waterfall and a view of the bamboo forest.

• Located a little independent guest cottages from the center of Tamatsukuri Onsen, this hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Shinji. The view of Lake Shinji from the indoor and outdoor baths is the ultimate luxury. For dinner, you can enjoy fresh local seafood and Shimane beef, and for breakfast, you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese and Western Buffet. There is also an esthetic salon that women will love. Although the hotel has a retro Showa-era atmosphere, it is clean and has a great view, so I would definitely recommend it.
