  • I'm going to Itsukushima to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the Seto Inland Sea! Where can I stay that is easily accessible by car and ferry?

I want to experience the tranquil atmosphere of spring, so I'm going on a drive date to Itsukushima. I'll get to the island by ferry and then on foot. I don't mind if we go to the mainland or the island, but are there any modern lodgings for couples? If possible, I'd like to enjoy meals in a private room. I'd like to spend around 30,000 yen.

  • A quiet inn in Miyajima

  • This inn has a rare natural hot spring, about 10 minutes by ferry from Miyajimaguchi Station. The hot spring is bathed in a granite bathtub. Meals are kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using high-quality Hiroshima beef and fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. How about a glass of Hiroshima navel orange wine for two?

Aki Grand Hotel & Spa

1-1-17 Miyajimaguchi-Nishi

  • This is a tourist Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on the mainland side of Hiroshima.

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs on the mainland side of Hiroshima Prefecture. You can see Itsukushima Shrine directly in front of you across the strait. The restored large torii gate also adds to its divine presence. Upon entering the entrance, you will be surprised by the three-story atrium lobby. The comfortable sea breeze blows through the private passageway leading to the private open-air bath, making you excited about the hot springs you are about to enter.

Miyahama Grand Hotel

2-5-4 Miyahamaonsen

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a beautiful view of the Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima

  • If you're in the Itsukushima area, how about checking out Miyahama Grand Hotel? It's a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a beautiful view of the calm Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima before your eyes. In addition to the large, open-air bath and rock open-air bath overlooking the sea, you can also enjoy a bath in the open-air observation bath where you can enjoy a wonderful view that blends in with the sea. If it's within your budget, there is a plan for dinner that includes kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )filled with Hiroshima seafood such as oysters, conger eel, Japanese beef, and Seto Inland Sea small fish sashimi.

Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima

  • The high-speed jet from the hotel to Miyajima is very convenient.

  • We recommend the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima. Miyajima can be easily reached in under 30 minutes by using the high-speed jet from the pier in front of the hotel. There is also an open-air observation bath with a beautiful view of the Seto Inland Sea, which will soothe your tired body after a day of sightseeing. The club lounge is also very private and comfortable, making this a wonderful inn that is also recommended for couples.

Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto

364 Minamimachi, Miyajimamachi, Hatsukaichi-shi

  • Itsukushima Shrine is right in front of you.

  • This inn has both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and the Western-style rooms have a stylish Japanese-modern atmosphere. You can see Itsukushima Shrine from the window, which makes you feel luxurious. The restaurant has private rooms, and since we were a family, we had a fairly large room, but there are also rooms that can accommodate two people. Since it is a large inn, the souvenir corner is also large, so we were able to take our time choosing souvenirs. The large communal bath has an open-air bath with a rustic atmosphere, which was very pleasant to soak in. If you have a larger budget, there are also rooms with open-air baths.

  • A location rich in nature, located in the opposite direction from the approach to Itsukushima Shrine

  • If you're in the Itsukushima area, how about Miyajima Seaside Hotel? This hotel is located in Miyajima, in a location surrounded by nature, in the opposite direction from the approach to Itsukushima Shrine. The rooms are Japanese-style rooms with a relaxing feel, and all rooms have views of the sea. After relaxing in the large public bath while looking out at the garden, you can enjoy a seafood kaiseki meal centered around oysters. You can enjoy your meal in your room or in a private room.

  • Stylish and urban. A perfect hotel for couples

  • We have luxurious rooms with indoor baths that use hot spring water. You will surely be satisfied with the beautiful view overlooking the Seto Inland Sea and the stylish rooms with an urban feel. You can also enjoy delicious food in a private room while taking in the great view. There are only 10 rooms, so it is a small, cozy hotel where you can spend time quietly. There is also a parking lot.

Miyajima Shinsen no Yado Hotel Miyarikyu

849 Miyajima-cho, Hatsukaichi-shi

  • A hotel close to Itsukushima Shrine with a great view from the rooms

  • The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is excellent, about a 5-minute walk from the ferry pier and less than a 10-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine. There are also rooms with a view of the shrine's torii gate. The food was very plentiful and delicious, with a wide variety of dishes.
