• There is a row of cherry trees along the Atsumi River that flows in front of the hotel. The best time to see them is in early April. The open-air bath was lukewarm, so even though I usually don't soak in a bath for more than five minutes, I was able to stay there for several minutes. As the hotel is located close to the Sea of Japan and a port, the fish dishes were delicious. Personally, I recommend the cod soup, a Shonai specialty.
