  • Traveling to Izu Onsen. I want to treat my foreign friends to a "boat-shaped platter"!

I'm planning to go on a hot spring trip to Izu with a friend. My foreign friend wants to stay at a hot spring inn that serves boat-shaped dishes. Can you tell me about an inn in Izu that has a boat-shaped dish on the menu (or a course menu)?

  • An inn where you can enjoy boat-style platters!

  • For meals, you can enjoy a boat-shaped platter of fresh fish caught at Ito Port. The boiled golden-eyed snapper caught at Shimoda Port is also delicious. You can enjoy the hot springs in an open-air bath with Breathtaking view where the water 100% natural hot spring. You can enjoy Breathtaking view of the sea, the night view, and the starry sky.

  • There is a plan that includes a luxurious boat platter.

  • This is a popular inn located in a quiet area in the center of Atami. There is a plan that includes a luxurious boat-style meal. Fresh sashimi is served on a boat-style meal. It makes a big impact. The hot spring is also the best, with water 100% natural hot spring.

Breezbay Seaside Resort Atami

7-79 Kaiko-cho

  • Take a bath in the mysterious "Tengu Bath"!

  • It's in Atami, and the private baths have a mysterious "Tengu bath," which is also interesting. The large bath is right in front of the seaman. It's not an open-air bath, but you can enjoy the hot springs while looking at the sea. Meals are seafood boat platters and a half Buffet. Even if your friend says they want to eat a boat platter, there are probably some foods they don't like, so with Buffet corner, you won't have any trouble finding a meal. Please note that you will have to put the futon on and take it down yourself in the Japanese-style room.

Izu Katase Onsen Ayumitei Fukumatsuso

Katase 53-1

  • This is a recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn).

  • The staff at Ryokan (Japanese inn) were very friendly. The rooms were very clean. There was a lot to choose from for dinner and breakfast, but it was delicious. There was also a boat-shaped platter plan. The temperature of the hot spring was just right.

Hotel Chobosanso

698-25 Miyashita, Yugawara-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun

  • One night stay with two meals and a daily special of local fish on the boat

  • There is a course that comes with a boat-shaped platter of carefully selected local fish. For breakfast, the freshly baked bread is delicious, and you can choose between Japanese and Western cuisine. There are Japanese-style and Western-style baths, and the Japanese-style building has an indoor bath and an open-air bath with a wonderful view. The Western-style building has a jacuzzi, vibrator, and reclining Lying-down bath. There is also a private European-style bathroom that can be rented for an additional fee, and it has a bubble bath, sauna, and a bathroom with a shower booth. Two meals cost about 15,000 yen per person, but for this price you get an unbelievable amount of luxurious food.

Izu Atagawa

969-1 Naramoto, Higashiizu-cho, Kamo-gun

  • A hot spring inn with excellent access, just a minute's walk from Izu Atagawa Station!

  • Izu Atagawaso is a national guesthouse, so you can stay cheaply, and although it is not an open-air bath, you can enjoy the hot spring water from the hotel's own hot spring source. After bathing in the hot spring, you can relax in your Japanese-style room wearing a hotel yukata. This is the true way to spend a Japanese hot spring trip! Recommended for foreign travelers. For meals, they serve sashimi in a boat-shaped platter with boiled golden-eyed snapper! You can enjoy Izu seafood dishes. All rooms have an ocean view!

  • An inn with boat-shaped platters

  • This inn is located in the Kawazu Nanataki Onsen hot spring resort, where you can see the seven magnificent waterfalls. There are also Japanese-style rooms with views of the Amagi mountains. There are also plans that include a boat-style meal. You can enjoy the private hot spring water in the garden-style open-air bath, the open-air bath with a jacuzzi, the cypress bath with a lock, and the private family bath (rock bath). Both breakfast and dinner are served in your room, and you can eat a Japanese meal set that includes sashimi (boat-style), seasonal hot pot, and simmered dishes.

  • A hot spring inn in Nishiizu where you can spend a quiet and relaxing time

  • This Nishiizu Toi Onsen inn offers plenty of natural hot spring water and excellent spring quality. It is a hideaway in a quiet location a little independent guest cottages from the hot spring town. There are spacious rooms where you can relax. There are also private baths, so even foreigners who are not used to Japanese baths can use the hot springs with peace of mind. The inn is also proud of its meals, which are made with plenty of fresh seafood and local ingredients from Shizuoka Prefecture. There is also a plan that includes dinner, where you can enjoy a seafood boat platter.
