  • Sansuikan Kinryu
  • I'd like to go to Tenryu-futamatata Station, which was the model for Evangelion, and then take a dip in the hot springs!

My Taiwanese friend is an avid Evangelion fan. He wants to go to Tenryu-futamatata Station in Japan, which was the model for the "Third Village" in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." He wants to stay at Ryokan (Japanese inn) where he can enjoy hot springs, so please let me know your recommended hot spring inns around Lake Hamana.

Sansuikan Kinryu

Chuo-ku Kanzanji-cho 2227

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kanzan Onsen near Lake Hamana!

  • This is a hot spring inn in Lake Hamana Kanzanji Onsen that is easy to get to after visiting Tenryu-Futamata Station, which was the model for Evangelion. You can enjoy a stay at a Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) with your Taiwanese friends. Meals are seasonal kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in a semi-private dining room. You can relax in the large public bath or private open-air bath, so this is a recommended hotel.

Hotel Kikusuitei

398 Kanzanji-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu-shi

  • There is a private bath available for a fee!

  • Hotel Kikusuitei is one of the hotels in Tateyamadera Onsen on Lake Hamana that has a private bath. The Komorebi no Yu bath was recently renovated, and although it requires a reservation, it is an open-air bath that gives you a luxurious feeling. If you don't mind the large public bath, you can also take a day trip, so we recommend staying at another hotel and just coming to take a bath in the observation bath. You can enjoy the hot spring while looking at the view of Lake Hamana. There is also an anniversary plan with a celebratory cake for an additional fee, so it is recommended for surprises such as birthday celebrations.

Hotel Wellseason Hamanako

1897 Kanzanjicho, Nishi-ku

  • Hotels near Lake Hamana that are easy for foreigners to stay at

  • "Well Season Lake Hamana" is an inn in Tateyamadera Onsen, and is recommended for staying with friends from overseas. This hotel allows you to fully enjoy the famous hot springs in Shizuoka. The one-night stay includes two meals in a Buffet style, and you can enjoy everything from Hamamatsu specialties such as grilled eel from Lake Hamana, Hamamatsu gyoza, freshly fried tempura, and nigiri sushi to B-grade gourmet food, so it is also recommended for foreign guests who are not accustomed to Japanese food. The hot spring has multiple open-air baths, all of which are well-equipped and you can relax and enjoy a soak in the hot water.

Kanzanji Sago Royal Hotel

3302 Kanzanji-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu-shi

  • This hot spring resort has a beautiful view of Lake Hamana.

  • If you're in the Lake Hamana area, how about staying at the Tateyamadera Sago Royal Hotel? It's a hot spring resort with a great view of Lake Hamana. The hot spring has a strong sodium chloride salt spring that doesn't cool down easily and is effective in relieving fatigue, so you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the spacious, open-air bath or the rooftop open-air bath 40 meters above ground. For dinner, you can enjoy delicious dishes such as natural tiger Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)kaiseki, domestic beef shabu-shabu kaiseki, and yakiniku kaiseki.

Hamanako Hotel Yamaki

2240 Kanzanji, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu-shi

  • The lobby is covered with tatami mats, creating a lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

  • Kanzanji Onsen is easily accessible and highly recommended. There are many hotels, but if you're looking for a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn), this one is recommended. The lobby is covered with tatami mats, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The facility itself is not new, but you can enjoy natural hot springs. You can also enjoy the hot springs at the Sago Royal Hotel right next door. The open-air bath is on the rooftop and has a great view.
