• Located in Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, this inn evokes the good old Taisho era romance. At Ginzanso, you can relax both body and mind in the open-air bath while watching the seasonal nature, from fresh greenery in spring, autumn leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter. The sodium chloride spring is effective in relieving fatigue and stress. The room was a relaxing space with a mountain view. There was also a room-service plan that included a Japanese breakfast. There was free Wi-Fi and a free shuttle service, so I had a comfortable stay.

You can enjoy 100% natural hot spring water directly from the source in a large bath with a retro atmosphere and stained glass. In addition, the accommodation plan with meals that make use of Tohoku specialties and ingredients unique to Yamagata Prefecture is also popular, and we recommend the plan with dinner that allows you to fully enjoy the main dish of Obanazawa beef.

• From the open-air bath at this inn, you can enjoy the greenery during the day and the starry sky at night, allowing you to relax and enjoy the hot springs. The food is a kaiseki course made with local ingredients. They also serve handmade soba noodles, which are fragrant and delicious with a smooth texture. There are several meal plans available, so I went for the steak tasting. It was a luxurious meal that meat lovers could enjoy, as I could enjoy Hanazawa beef and Yamagata beef at the same time. It was delicious, with a melting softness. The mountain view spreads out from the rooms, allowing you to relax and unwind.
