  • Recommended accommodations with open-air baths in Yamanashi Prefecture

We are looking for a hotel with an open-air bath near Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. It would be even better if we could see Mt. Fuji from inside the room.

Ubuya

10 Asakawa, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun

  • The best way to enjoy Mt. Fuji

  • Although it depends on the weather, you can enjoy Breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji from the bath is amazing, and you can see the real Mt. Fuji just like you would see on a mural in a public bath. The food is also delicious, so it seems like Ryokan (Japanese inn) for married couple to relax and enjoy their wedding anniversary.

Fuji Lake Hotel

  • A luxurious hotel with an open-air bath and Breathtaking view spectacular view

  • The large communal bath is equipped with an open-air bath, sauna and jacuzzi, where you can enjoy natural hot springs full of minerals. You can see Mt. Fuji from the private bath, so it's comfortable to have the view all to yourself. The guest rooms are also spacious, and the observation floor is a great place to relax, so I recommend it.

Wakakusa no Yado Maruei Ryokan

  • It's an elegant accommodation.

  • The inn I recommend has a great view of Mt. Fuji, with an open-air bath right in front of you. From the Fuji no Yu bath, you can see Mt. Fuji changing its appearance one after another. The meal was a delicious kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in harmony.

Mt. Fuji View Onsen Ooike Hotel

6713-103 Funatsu

  • The open-air bath can also be rented for private use.

  • Although it is Lake Kawaguchi, the large public bath offers Breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji. Depending on the room, you can see Mt. Fuji from the bath. (Rooms with semi-open-air baths) The area around Lake Kawaguchi is frequented by young people who are likely going to Fuji-Q Highland. Oike Hotel is not cheap, so the age group seems to be a little older, so you can relax.

Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka

  • The view from this hotel is amazing

  • This is a wonderful inn with a great view and attentive staff. Some rooms are a little small depending on the price, so I recommend choosing a room in the middle price range. Of course, if you can afford it, the highest class rooms are undoubtedly comfortable.

THE KUKUNA (Formerly: Kaze no Terrace KUKUNA)

70 Azagawa, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun

  • If you want a view, this is the place to stay.

  • This inn has a close view of Mt. Fuji, so it's especially recommended if you want a view. The room with an open-air bath and jacuzzi is right in front of Lake Kawaguchi. Beyond that is Mt. Fuji, so it was a fantastic location. There is a large terrace, so you can sit back and relax and enjoy the view. The room was a stylish Japanese-modern space. The restaurant offers a buffet, but if you want to relax and enjoy a meal, I recommend the teppanyaki restaurant. The steaks were delicious, and they also have local alcoholic beverages such as local beer and wine, so we enjoyed an elegant time. I think this is a perfect inn for an anniversary.
