  • Nara Hotel
  • A convenient hotel for touring Nara's main tourist attractions

I am planning to show two guests from Nara's sister city Canberra around Nara in November. Please let me know a hotel with a convenient location for visiting all the main tourist spots in Nara in about 2 nights and 3 days.

Nara Hotel

1096 Takabatakecho

  • A hotel located on the hilltop of Nara Park

  • It is easily accessible, just a 5-minute drive from Nara Station. There is also a free shuttle bus from Nara Station and Kintetsu Nara Station. It is located on a hill in Nara Park, so you can enjoy nature to the fullest. The classic and modern design is popular with foreigners. I think you will like the Taisho Romantic architecture.

Hotel Nikko Nara

8-1,Sanjo-Hommachi

  • Located in front of the station, it is extremely convenient.

  • The best thing about this hotel is its excellent accessibility, located in front of JR Nara Station. It is extremely convenient as a base for sightseeing, including bus services. There is a large public bath, and the prices are reasonable. I think the JAL brand is also good for overseas customers, as it gives them a sense of security.

Nara Royal Hotel

254-1 Hokkeji

  • It was a good value for money hotel

  • I rented a bicycle around Nara city, so I stayed at this hotel because I wanted to relax in the large public bath. It is a natural hot spring. I stayed there in November, and it cost less than 10,000 yen for one night with breakfast. The breakfast Buffet included local dishes such as nyumen and Nara pickles. The souvenir shop had a large selection for a hotel store.

Kasuga Hotel

40 Noboriohji-cho

  • I feel like it's Nara.

  • We recommend the quiet Kasuga Hotel, located next to Kofuku-ji Temple. In particular, if you take a bath in the open-air bath in the evening while looking at the lush garden, you can hear the sound of the bells of Kofuku-ji Temple, and feel the quiet flow of time that is typical of Nara with all your senses. In addition to Kofuku-ji Temple, Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine are also within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing in Nara.

Yoshidaya Sarusawa

246, Takabatake-cho

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on the banks of Sarusawa Pond.

  • If you are looking for a place to visit in Nara, I recommend Sarusawaike Yoshidaya. It is an 8-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on the banks of Sarusawaike Pond in Nara Park Park near Kofukuji Temple. There are Western-style rooms such as twin rooms and Japanese-style rooms. There is also a large public bath. You can enjoy local Nara cuisine such as Asuka nabe and Yamato nikutori chicken.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nara Natural Hot Spring

11-12,Sanjohonmachi

  • A hotel near Nara Station that is convenient for sightseeing

  • It is located just a 3-minute walk from Nara Station, so it is easy to get to on foot and perfect for sightseeing. The large public bath has good quality water and you can relax in the natural hot spring. It is also nice that the rooms are relatively cheap.

Super Hotel Premier JR Nara Eki Asuka no Yu

1-2 Sanjo Honmachi, Nara-shi

  • After all, the area in front of Nara Station is convenient.

  • The bus terminal in front of Nara Station connects to various areas, making it convenient. Western travelers, including Australians, don't spend much on accommodation. So a business hotel is recommended. Here you can experience hot springs and it's convenient and cheap to stay. The breakfast has a wide variety of breads, so I think you'll like it.
