  • Grand Views Asamushi Sakura Kanko Hotel
  • Please tell me about a hotel where all rooms have an ocean view and where a woman traveling alone can feel safe. (If possible, I would prefer an area from Tohoku/Niigata to northern Kanto.)

I use public transportation to get around during my trip. Of course, it would be ideal to have an easily accessible lodging, such as one within walking distance of the nearest station or one that offers a shuttle service. However, if there is an accommodation that you think everyone should definitely visit, I would like to make an effort to go there even if it is a little difficult to access. If you know of any lodgings that can accommodate one person and have a great view from the room, please let me know.

Grand Views Asamushi Sakura Kanko Hotel

51-1 Aza-Sakamoto, Oaza-Sakamushi, Aomori-shi

  • I recommend Asamushi Onsen in Aomori.

  • The first requirement was that all rooms have an ocean view. The nearest station is about 30 minutes by train from Aomori Station, and it is a 3-minute walk from there. The hotel is decorated in a "Neputa" style, making it an easy-to-remember hotel. Large "Neputa" paintings are displayed everywhere. Once you've visited, you'll never forget it.

Minami Sanriku Hotel Kanyo

99-17 Kurosaki, Shizugawa, Minamisanriku-cho, Motoyoshi-gun

  • It is a big and luxurious hotel.

  • It's a very large hotel with a variety of facilities. All rooms face the ocean, and many black-tailed gulls sometimes fly into the windows. There are two large public baths, both of which are very large. The food was also very delicious. The lobby on each floor also has a sofa facing the ocean, making it a wonderful hotel where you won't get bored. The price was also cheap at 12,000 yen per person per night, which was nice. I would definitely like to visit this hotel again.

Isohara Seaside Hotel

Isoharacho Isohara 2550

  • This is a place where the sunrise is amazing!

  • I visited this winter to eat monkfish dishes. The food and the open-air bath on the rooftop were great, but the view from the rooms was also amazing. All rooms have an ocean view, and you can see the Pacific Ocean in its entirety. The sunrises are especially beautiful, and you never get tired of them. I highly recommend this place.

Rikuchu Kaigan Grand Hotel

1-2-3 Minatomachi, Kamaishi-shi

  • How about a hotel in Kamaishi?

  • Are you looking for a hotel in the Tohoku region with ocean views from all rooms that caters to solo travelers? If so, consider the Rikuchu Kaigan Grand Hotel in Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture, as one of your options. With a view of Kamaishi Bay and the beautiful sea at sunrise, it may meet your needs.

Yukaitei Miyajima

1-6-4 Yunohama, Tsuruoka City

  • All rooms have ocean views.

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Yunohama Onsen on the Sea of Japan side of Yamagata Prefecture. All rooms have an ocean view, but what's even more unique is the building built on the sandy beach. It was cold when I got out of the bath, but the view from the open-air hot spring bath on the roof was great.
