• Located next to Nara Park, Kofuku-ji Temple, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, this hotel is very convenient for exploring Nara. Nara Hotel has a 100-year history dating back to the Meiji era, and is a prestigious hotel that has hosted foreign dignitaries and members of the imperial family. The specialty Yamato tea porridge breakfast was healthy and very delicious.

• ​Ryokan (Japanese inn) is located very close to the station. Please relax in the tatami room. You may hear the sound of a bell. You can see the five-story pagoda from the bath. You can explore the scenic ancient capital to your heart's content, including Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Mount Wakakusa. There are many other things to see, including the former residence of Taikichi Irie.

• こちらの最寄り駅は、近鉄奈良駅のとなりです。ＪＲ奈良駅もすぐそばなので便利な立地です。奈良市内観光にはもってこいですよ。シンプルはビジネスホテルですが、土地柄もあって観光客がいっぱい泊まっています。朝食はありますが、夕食は外で召し上がってください。

• 古都巡りとのことで、奈良市以外の場所へも行かれるご様子ですね。桜井、當麻、吉野辺りを視野に入れておられるのであれば、近鉄の｢大和八木｣や｢橿原神宮前｣辺りに宿泊されると便利です。｢橿原ロイヤルホテル｣は｢橿原神宮前｣駅近くにあります。｢ダイワロイヤルホテルズ｣グループのホテルですが、宿泊した中では良い方だと思います。地下に温泉浴場がありますので、旅の疲れは入浴で癒すことができると思います。飛鳥あたりに行く人はレンタルサイクルを利用する人が多いようです。駅前で借りられますよ。
