I'm going on a hot spring trip with partner. We both have birthdays in May, so we'd like to enjoy a private open-air bath where we can relax without any worries. We live in Saitama, so we're looking for an area that's easy to get to from there. If there's somewhere we can go sightseeing, we'd like to go for a drive. Can you recommend a place to stay for two days and one night for under 20,000 yen per person?

My husband took me there on my birthday! It was a time when I was exhausted from work, but it was a very relaxing inn and the Yonezawa beef meal was delicious and satisfying, so I definitely recommend it. There were services that women will appreciate, such as free konnyaku balls and a choice of yukata upon arrival, and the staff were kind and the service was good. The hot spring water was also very warm. It seems to take about 4 hours from Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture on the Tohoku Expressway. On the way, please take a little detour and try Akayu ramen "Ryu Shanghai". I also recommend this!

If you want to enjoy hot springs and other things with your partner, I recommend a hotel in this area, which doesn't take too much time to get to in Izu. The hot springs while looking at the ocean are the best. You can eat in your room and take a bath in a large bath with a nice view. If you go any further from Saitama by car, it will be difficult to return.
