  • Okunoin Hotel Tokugawa
  • Please tell me about hot spring inns near Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) in Tochigi Prefecture.

I will be traveling with my boyfriend to one of Japan's three most bizarre bridges at Tochigi Prefecture and Nikko Toshogu Shrine. I would like to know accommodations with hot springs that have convenient access and also the open-air bath and serve good food.

Okunoin Hotel Tokugawa

Nikko 2204

  • This is a luxurious inn in Nikko that also has rooms with open-air baths.

  • This famous hot spring inn is located in the Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) area of Tochigi Prefecture, about 10 minutes by car from Tobu Nikko Station and JR Nikko Station, and has rooms with open-air baths. The open-air baths surrounded by nature are very tasteful and will make for a memorable trip. The creative cuisine is also luxurious, and although it is a high-class inn, it is well worth staying at! There is also a free shuttle service to the nearest station. It is especially recommended during the autumn foliage season.

Nikko Senhime Monogatari

6-48 Yasukawa-cho, Nikko-shi

  • A hot spring inn with an open-air bath near Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge)

  • Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) It is a hot spring hotel at Nikko, about 8 minutes' walk from the hotel. There is a large bath with clear, colorless alkaline simple spring water, an open-air bath, a silky bath, and a sauna, etc. The open-air bath offers a relaxing soak in the hot spring while viewing the snowy landscape. In the spacious guest rooms, you can relax while enjoying the view of the Oya River and Mount Narimushi. For dinner, you can enjoy a colorful, specially selected kaiseki set meal that uses plenty of local ingredients such as Tochigi wagyu beef and Ebiya's Yuba(soy milk skin). You can eat in your room or in a private dining room, so you can eat without hesitation.
