  • Kyoto Nanzenji Ryokan Yachiyo
  • I want to experience Zen meditation at Nanzenji Temple. I want to know about recommended accommodations in the area.

I'm planning to go to the popular Nanzenji Temple with a friend to experience Zen meditation to improve my physical and mental health. I'd also like to do sightseeing in Kyoto city, so I'd like to know about recommended accommodations in the area.

Kyoto Nanzenji Ryokan Yachiyo

34 Nanzenji Fukuji-cho Sakyo-ku

  • This is an inn located in a beautiful landscape.

  • How about this one on the approach to Nanzenji Temple? It is a wonderful inn with a Japanese atmosphere built in a beautiful garden. Rooms with open-air bath are calm and quiet. You can be healed to your heart's content by the view from the guest room and open-air bath. Meals are Kyoto cuisine that the chef prepares one dish at a time with all his heart. It is a feast to enjoy with the eyes and savor with the tongue. The dishes and presentation are beautiful, and you will feel the wonderfulness of Japan again. The next day, it is close to the station, easy to sightseeing, and I think it is good to experience various things in Kyoto.

Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto Ekimae

565-3 Kita Fudondo-cho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto-shi

  • A hotel in front of Kyoto Station with a full range of dining and experience services

  • This hotel near the station has a modern Kyoto feel and is recommended for those traveling to Kyoto. The hotel offers services such as matcha tea experiences and a Japanese atmosphere that changes depending on the month. You can spend a relaxing and luxurious time eating while looking out at the courtyard. The hotel serves a buffet-style breakfast that incorporates Kyoto-style obanzai cuisine. Depending on the time of day, they also offer Japanese-style sweets in the afternoon and a wide variety of alcoholic drinks in the evening, so you can enjoy yourself at the hotel all day long.
