  • What Japanese-style hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo Onsen would my foreign friends enjoy?

I have a foreign friend coming to Japan to visit, so I'm thinking of taking him to a hot spring. I want him to have a truly Japanese experience, so if possible, I'd like to stay in a Japanese-style room and stay at a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) where I can eat delicious Japanese food. Are there any Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can recommend?

Umenoya Ryokan

  • A Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs that foreigners will love

  • If you are looking for a Japanese-style hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo Onsen that will please your foreign friends, how about this inn? Dinner here is a Japanese kaiseki meal centered on seafood and vegetables from the Seto Inland Sea. The hot spring is a hypotonic, weakly alkaline spring, which is said to be effective for joint pain and neuralgia. Highly recommended.

  • A traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs located next to Dogo Park

  • This is a traditional Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs located next to Dogo Park, just a few steps from the Dogo Onsen main building. It had a very quiet and calm atmosphere. I think it would be a good opportunity for foreigners to experience Japanese architecture. The bath is not large, but it was wonderful with 100% natural hot spring.

  • A traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a lot of atmosphere

  • If you're looking for a traditional Japanese inn in Dogo Onsen, this is Ryokan (Japanese inn) one to go for. From the exterior to the guest rooms, it's a truly Japanese-style establishment. The garden you can see from the window is beautifully maintained, and you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. The carefully prepared Japanese banquet meals are also delicious.

  • Carefully Selected Japanese Cuisine

  • How about a Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) surrounded by a Japanese garden, which is sure to please foreigners? The Dogo hot springs and the garden match perfectly, which we think will be very well received. Meals are Japanese meals using local ingredients, carefully selected by the head chef, allowing you to enjoy the seasonal flavors. Breakfast is also Japanese, so you can enjoy Japanese food and the hot springs to your heart's content.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can experience a truly Japanese experience

  • If you're visiting Dogo Onsen, we recommend this Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn), which also has a truly Japanese exterior. All rooms are Japanese-style, but chairs are provided so that foreigners who are uncomfortable sitting on the floor can enjoy it. The spacious dining area offers delicate Japanese cuisine, both in appearance and taste, centered around seafood and vegetables from the Seto Inland Sea.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a beautiful Japanese garden

  • I recommend this inn, which combines Japanese-style rooms with a Japanese garden. It's a compact inn with only 8 rooms, so you can relax and unwind. The 100% natural hot spring water is also very pleasant, and I think even foreigners will be satisfied with this inn.
