  • Shiraishiya
  • Where can I find a lodging in Tamatsukuri Onsen where I can enjoy a charming indoor bath and which is also convenient for sightseeing?

married couple and I are thinking of going to Tamatsukuri Onsen. We heard that Lake Shinji is nearby and that it is a scenic hot spring area with the Tamayu River and other attractions, so we would like to stay at a Japanese-style inn with a scenic indoor bath. Please let us know your recommendations.

Shiraishiya

  • The two large baths are nice.

  • If you are looking for a recommended indoor bath in Tamatsukuri Onsen, I recommend "Shiraishi-ya." There are two indoor baths here, named "Orihime" and "Hikoboshi." The former is made entirely of cypress, and the latter is made of solid black granite. Both baths are open to both men and women. There is also a sauna and beauty salon.

  • The cypress bath is the best inn

  • The indoor bath at this Ryokan (Japanese inn) is a large bath made of cypress. The real pleasure of a hot spring is soaking in a spacious bathtub while being surrounded by the scent of cypress. The guest rooms are also clean Japanese-style rooms, so you can fully experience the atmosphere of a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) and we recommend them.

  • Enjoy two large indoor baths

  • How about "Shiraishi-ya"? There are two large indoor baths, which are alternated between men and women, and you can enjoy two types of wonderful baths. You can enjoy natural hot springs, which are popular for their beauty benefits. The baths are Japanese-style and tasteful, and the guest rooms are Japanese-style.
