  • Yuyado Tokinoniwa (Kyoritsu Resort)
  • Kusatsu Onsen | What are the recommended hot spring inns that offer in-room dining and rooms with open-air bath?

I'm going to Kusatsu Onsen for my anniversary trip with my girlfriend. Since it's our anniversary, we're looking for a place where we can relax together. Please let me know if there are any recommended inns that offer in-room dining and have rooms with open-air bath!

Yuyado Tokinoniwa (Kyoritsu Resort)

464-214 Kusatsu Shirane, Kusatsu-cho, Agatsuma-gun

  • A quiet inn on a hill away from hot spring town

  • Although it is far from hot spring town, how about Yuyado Tokinoniwa, a quiet inn built on a hill? The rooms have an open open-air bath and you can eat meals in your room. They also offer plans that include a complimentary glass of beer after the bath and anniversary plans, so it is perfect for celebrations. Another nice point is that check-out is a little late at 11:00.

Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Ichii

411,Kusatsu,Kusatsu-machi,Agatsuma-gun

  • An inn where you can enjoy a leisurely meal in a room with a close-up view of the Yubatake hot springs at Kusatsu Onsen

  • Although it is called a hotel, it is a long-established inn that has been in business for 300 years since the Edo period. You can see the Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu, from your room. The Yubatake is quite beautiful when lit up at night. For meals, you can enjoy sukiyaki made with Joshu beef, and one drink, including alcohol, is also included. 100% natural hot spring directly from two of the six hot springs in Kusatsu Onsen. There is also an open-air bath, so you can enjoy Kusatsu Onsen while feeling the outside breeze. There is also a late check-out (11:00), so if you want to take it easy in the morning, this is a great inn to use.

Kusatsu Onsen Boun

433-1, Agatsuma-gun

  • An inn where you can enjoy two hot springs, Kawahara Onsen and Bandaiko Onsen.

  • There are rooms with open-air bath here, so we were able to enjoy dinner in our rooms at our leisure. The best thing about open-air bath in our rooms is that we can use them whenever we want without any worries. The tasteful design made for a luxurious time. The large open-air bath bath was also spacious, and we enjoyed a blissful time here while gazing at Nature beauty. Another nice feature was the service of choosing colorful yukata from a wide range of options.

Ryokan Naraya

Kusatsu

  • A long-established inn founded 137 years ago, with a charming gate that gives off a sense of history

  • This inn is located right in front of the Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu, and is a long-established inn that has continued to protect the Shirahata hot spring source, said to be the oldest in Kusatsu Onsen, and its old traditions since it was founded in 1877. The guest rooms are designer rooms with modern Japanese furniture, and the three types of private open-air baths were very relaxing.

Kusatsu Onsen Kanemidori

  • Enjoy Ryokan (Japanese inn)-style kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in your room

  • If you are looking for a hotel in Kusatsu Onsen where you can dine in your room, we recommend the "Kanemidori" Hotel. Meals can be served in your room or in a private room. Dinner is a Ryokan (Japanese inn)-style kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal ingredients, allowing you to fully enjoy the local flavors of Gunma. Also the annex has a private open-air bath, so it is highly recommended!

Hotel Sakurai

465-4 Kusatsu-machi, Agatsuma-gun

  • Relax in a room with open-air bath

  • There was no Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kusatsu Onsen that had both an open-air bath and in-room dining. However, this inn is recommended for its open-air bath. You can relax with your girlfriend in a room decorated in gentle colors! There are also private rooms for meals, so please request one and relax.

  • Anniversary support plans available!

  • Although it is not possible to have both open-air bath and in-room dining at the same time, how about this inn? The plan for a room with open-air bath means dinner is served in an open kitchen style. The food is served hot and fresh, so you are sure to be very satisfied.
