Mikuniya Ryokan

221 Yushima Kinosaki-cho

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that still retains the atmosphere of hot springs

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that has been in business for over 100 years, with its nostalgic latticework. Although it is only dinner, it is served in your room, so you can relax in your room without having to move. The full crab course is recommended at this time of year, but you can also enjoy a delicious Japanese banquet filled with various seafood and mountain produce. There are also three private baths. The inn is conveniently located for walking around soto-yu (public bathhouses), and they also rent out colorful yukata, so why not take a stroll around the hot spring town with the sound of your geta clogs clattering around you and a beautiful colorful yukata? This is a wonderful Ryokan (Japanese inn) that retains the hot spring atmosphere typical of Kinosaki.

New Year's Eve

1011, Kinosakicho Yushima

  • A retro inn with a hint of Taisho-era romance

  • If you are looking for a retro inn in Kinosaki Onsen, I recommend "Miyama Rakutei". The entrance and lobby have a retro atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in the Taisho era. There are four large baths, and the cypress bath is very large and is one of the largest in Kinosaki. You can relax in a calm Japanese-style room.

  • The nostalgic massage machine in the lobby exudes rustic spring inn atmosphere.

  • Not only the exterior, but the massage machines at the entrance to the lobby are of a nostalgic type, giving off a Showa-era vibe. Also, when you enter the room, you'll find a rotary dial phone, which is no longer seen these days, so you can fully enjoy the Showa-era atmosphere. If you're looking for a rustic spring inn, we recommend "Korakuen"!

Tsuruya Ryokan

Kinosakicho Yushima 606

  • A traditional inn with a Showa retro atmosphere

  • It's about a 10-minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station through the hot spring town. Ryokan (Japanese inn) is characterized by its quaint building built along the Otani River that flows through the center of the hot spring town. There are only five rooms, so you can enjoy traditional, attentive hospitality. The rooms are of course Japanese-style, and will make you feel as if you've traveled back in time to the mid-Showa period. The accommodation plan includes a ticket Visiting hot springs, so you can enjoy soto-yu (public bathhouses) while leisurely strolling through the hot spring town.
