  • Four inns lined up along the Tobida River

  • "Suimeikan" is an inn consisting of four buildings lined up along the Tobida River. Each building has a different atmosphere, but if you would like to enjoy the night view, we recommend "Rinsenkaku". This building is the highest of the four, so if you request a room on the upper floors you can get a panoramic view of Gero's townscape. There are several dining options, and while dinner is a kaiseki meal, there is Buffet for breakfast.

  • I was impressed by the night view from the observation bath.

  • I would like to recommend Suimeikan. Dinner was not Buffet, but a Japanese-Western fusion banquet using fresh ingredients from Tobida, but there was a lot of food on the menu and I was full. Breakfast was a Japanese-Western Buffet, and the menu was also rich. There are several baths, but the large observation bath was impressive as it offered a night view of the city of Gero.

  • You can enjoy a panoramic view of Gero's majestic mountains, rivers, and townscape.

  • If you're in Gero Onsen, how about staying at Suimeikan? This inn has four buildings, each with its own unique style. If you want to see the night view, the Rinsenkaku and Hisenkaku buildings are tall, so the rooms on the upper floors have better views. You can see the majestic mountains and rivers of Gero, as well as the townscape. There are several dining options, but there is also a Buffet-style breakfast option.

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Gero.

  • It is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn), but it is well-cleaned and has renovated rooms, so it is very clean. The thick water that is unique to Gero Onsen warmed my body well. It seems to be good for the skin too. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options and was delicious. The view of the Tobida River, the mountains, and the city was also nice.

  • You can enjoy bathing in the baths at Sansuikaku, Hisenkaku, and Rinsenkaku!

  • There are three buildings in total, and no matter which one you stay in, you can use the various baths in all of them. On the first floor of Sansuikaku, there is a granite open-air bath, an indoor bath, and a men's and women's open-air bath. There is also an indoor heated pool, an athletic gym and a sauna. There is a high-temperature bathtub, a low-temperature bathtub, a cypress bath, and a sauna on the 3rd floor of Rinkawakaku. There is a large granite observation bath that can be entered 24 hours a day on the 9th floor of Hisenkaku. Also, there are two private baths and a bedrock bath on the 4th floor of Rinkawakaku. There are various plans for meals, but the Japanese-style room of Sansuikaku or Hisenkaku, and the Japanese-Western equality plan seems to fit within the budget.

  • A place where families can relax and unwind

  • This is a relaxing hot spring inn consisting of four buildings along the Hida River! We recommend Gero Onsen Suimeikan. Rinsenkaku, Hisenkaku, and Sansuikaku each have their own large baths, so no matter which building you stay in, you can enjoy all the hot springs, making this a very attractive hot spring inn that allows you to easily enjoy a hot spring hopping experience. In particular, the open-air observation bath overlooking the town from the 9th floor of Hisenkaku is particularly comfortable, and the alkaline, highly moisturizing simple hot spring is gentle on the skin, making it a great choice for a relaxing and leisurely stay with the family.

  • A relaxing and leisurely inn

  • This hot spring inn has three very attractive large hot spring baths! We recommend Gero Onsen Suimeikan. The spring waters of Gero Onsen are famous for Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty), and are very smooth and soft. If you are staying as a couple, we recommend a room with an open-air bath that will ensure privacy. The luxury of having the refreshing scenery and atmosphere of the Hida River all to yourself, and the delicious in-room dining options are very appealing.
