- Yuwaku hot spring is known locally as Kanazawa's inner sanctum, but is less well known nationwide than Wakura Onsen and Kaga hot spring. It is a small hot spring with few lodgings, but the buildings are quite impressive, the food is delicious, and I was able to enjoy hot spring at my leisure. There is also a magnificent open-air bath, and in winter you can bathe while watching the snow. It does not have the glitz and glamour of larger hot spring, but it is a great place to relax and refresh. The accommodation fee is not too high, so it is an excellent value for money lodging.
