"Yumoto Saito RyokanReviews about "

  • A famous hot spring with heated water flowing directly from the source. In winter, you can enjoy the snow from open-air bath.

  • Although it is quite snowy, the natural environment is wonderful and the location is like a "secret hot spring". I wanted to take a bath in a white hot spring while watching the snowy scenery, so I chose Saito Ryokan (Japanese inn) which has good reviews in Shirahone Onsen. The open-air bath with a view of the snow was amazing. I was very satisfied with the bath, the food, and the room.

  • Relax your body and mind in bath to view the snow

  • This is a quiet and relaxing luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn). The water is from Shirahone Onsen, a very good, milky sulfur spring. The baths are switched between men and women depending on the time, and it seemed like people were Visiting hot springs just inside the inn. The area around the open-air bath is covered in snow, so you can enjoy the white hot springs and the white scenery while bath to view the snow. You can also tour the hot springs at other inns in the area. The local specialty, "hot spring rice porridge," is also delicious.

  • Reasonably priced and tasteful accommodation

  • The annex is a historic building, and inside it you can see the layers of Shirahone Onsen on display, creating a unique sight. The facilities are old but well-cleaned, and the hot springs can be used privately for free. The main building is a luxury inn, but if you stay in the annex you can use the hot springs for free, which is a great deal.
