- This hot spring inn is located in Yunohama hot spring in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. It is in a very unusual location, built on the sandy beach itself. Therefore, there is no obstruction to the Sea of Japan, and the view is outstanding. The sunset seen from open-air bath on the roof was beautiful. However, it is cold in winter.
Answered question: Are there any lodgings where you can watch the sunset over the ocean while soaking in hot spring?
