  • Private hot springs are recommended

  • If you are traveling to Kagoshima, I recommend "Ibusuki Shusuien." There are foot baths and sand foot baths where you can soak while looking at the garden, as well as a gallery and a shop, and many other services are available within the building. There is a fee for the hot springs, but the private baths were very nice. The scent and atmosphere of the cypress bath was particularly soothing. The food includes seafood caught in the waters off Kagoshima and a kaiseki dinner of the famous black pork shabu-shabu. Of course, you can also enjoy delicious shochu.

  • Enjoy a sand bath and shochu at Ibusuki Onsen

  • If you are in Kagoshima, be sure to try the sand bath at Ibusuki Onsen. This is a traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) offers a sand bath with a foot bath. There is a large bath, an open-air bath, and two private hot springs. The food is also famous for the black pork shabu-shabu kaiseki course meal, and as the sea is nearby, you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using delicious seafood. You can also enjoy authentic shochu.

  • Enjoy Ibusuki in luxury

  • This inn has been ranked number one for 34 consecutive years in the food category of the 100 Best Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ibusuki, chosen by professionals. The quality of the food is in keeping with the traditional Japanese style rooms, which are filled with an adult atmosphere and are perfect for couples. This high-class inn is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Sunamushi Onsen (Steam Sand Bath).

  • A hotel with a beautiful garden and a Japanese atmosphere

  • We recommend Ibusuki Onsen Ibusuki Shusuien. We provide a shuttle service to JR Ibusuki Station. This is a hot spring inn where you can feel the Japanese atmosphere as soon as you stand in front of the entrance. Looking out at the garden next to the lobby, you will feel that it was worth coming all the way there. The baths 100% natural hot spring, and the open-air rock bath at night is relaxing. The meals are full of tropical seafood and mountain produce, so you will be very satisfied.

  • If you are going on a business trip to Ibusuki Onsen, we recommend "Ibusuki Shusuien"

  • Ibusuki Onsen So, you would like an inn with a shuttle bus service to Shinkansen station. Kagoshima There is no inn with a shuttle bus service to Chuo Station at Ibusuki Onsen. We recommend "Ibusuki Shusuien" which has a microbus pickup service to Ibusuki Station. It is an inn of hospitality with a Japanese spirit. hot spring has a large bath with free-flowing spring water and open-air bath as well as a "sand footbath" that you can enjoy while looking out over the garden. There is also a private half open-air bath with its own living room. A sand steaming hall "Sunaraku" is located a 3-minute walk away. Dinner is served in the room and is an authentic kaiseki meal using seasonal delicacies from the mountains and the sea.

  • I recommend it because they offer a shuttle service to Ibusuki Station.

  • This inn offers a shuttle service to Ibusuki Station, so we recommend it. Ibusuki Onsen is over 50km independent guest cottages from Kagoshima Chuo Station. Therefore, it may be difficult to find an inn that offers a shuttle service to Kagoshima Chuo Station. This inn offers a shuttle service from JR Ibusuki Station. You can enjoy the hot springs of Ibusuki in the large public bath, open-air bath, and private half-open-air bath. For meals, you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )because it offers Japanese-style rooms where you can relax and enjoy the view of Ibusuki's cityscape.

  • To eliminate time loss

  • Ibusuki Onsen is over 50km away, and considering the one-way shuttle time, it would be better to take the JR Ibusuki Makurazaki Line to Ibusuki Station. I recommend a hotel that offers shuttle service to Ibusuki Station. The large public bath is literally large, and the adjacent open-air bath is also charming. Although there is a fee, the semi-open-air private bath is also soothing. The room is a Japanese-style 8-tatami room, and I recommend the plan to enjoy a seasonal kaiseki meal made with seasonal ingredients while looking out over the Ibusuki streetscape. You can enjoy the flavors of Shusuien.

  • Relax in a high-quality Japanese space

  • This is a famous inn that has won first place for 35 consecutive years in the food category of the 100 Best Japanese Hotels Ryokan (Japanese inn), a selection chosen by professionals. There is a free shuttle bus to JR Ibusuki Station, which is convenient. It is also recommended for sightseeing, as it is only a 3-minute walk from the natural sand bath hot springs.

  • An inn with a tropical atmosphere

  • To get to Ibusuki Onsen, there is a direct bus from Kagoshima Airport. It takes a little time, but you can get there without getting lost. The famous natural sand bath is located on the beach on the coast. It is a unique bathing experience where you cover yourself with sand, but even if your body gets dirty, you can wash it off comfortably and there are facilities nearby, so you don't have to worry. Now, Ibusuki Shusuien is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is said to have been ranked number one in the food category of the 100 Best Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) selected by professionals for over 30 years in a row. I stayed at this inn for two nights, and the food was amazing. The prices are a little high, but it is sure to be a memory that will last a lifetime.

  • You can easily experience the sand bath.

  • This is a famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ibusuki. The prices are a little high, but the service, rooms, food, and facilities make it well worth the price. The sand bath can be accessed directly from the large public bath and is indoors with a roof, so it's convenient even on bad weather days. It's clean and well-equipped, so even first-time visitors can feel free to use it.

  • There is a sand bath in Ryokan (Japanese inn), and the Genroku bath afterwards also has a great atmosphere.

  • There are many sand baths in Ibusuki. I went during the cold season, so I tried it at Hakusuikan, which has a sand bath next to Ryokan (Japanese inn). They let me drink the water, and the person who poured the sand on me was very polite. After that, I was able to wash off the sand in the shower and go into the large bath, so I was able to relax more than other places. The large bath is called Genroku bath, so I was able to experience the bath of old, and the changing room was also clean. I think it is geographically difficult to see Sakurajima from Ibusuki, but if you want to take a bath while looking at Sakurajima, I recommend the open-air bath at Shiroyama Kanko Hotel in Kagoshima City. The hotel is on top of a small mountain, so the view of Sakurajima from the open-air bath and reception desk was incredibly beautiful.
