- There is a private bath that requires a reservation at check-in (first come, first served). There are two types of baths, a cypress bath and a stone bath, and although they are small, you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the Yufuin hot springs. Dinner was a seasonal kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with fresh ingredients from Bungo, Oita, and it also came with a cherry blossom roll cake. There is also a free rental of a beautifully colored yukata, which I think will get your girlfriend excited.
