- If you are in Gero Onsen, why not try "Chikusuitei"? Located about a 5-minute walk from Gero Station, this inn has a total of 18 rooms and is a very fine inn. There are three types of rooms: regular rooms, special rooms, and the Yugiri Room, all of which are Japanese-style. The Yugiri Room is the only Japanese and Western room can accommodate up to 6 people and has a cypress bathtub. All of the rooms are bright and spacious, so you can relax in comfort. The large bath, with its entire wall made of glass windows, offers the best view. During the day, you can see the lush mountains, and at night, you can enjoy the night view of the hot spring town. There is also a cypress family bath, which can be rented out exclusively, making it popular with couples and families. For meals, you can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, including the famous Hida beef. The voluminous content and beautiful appearance will make mealtimes even more enjoyable.
