- I've been there a few times, both for driving from Fukuoka and for a day trip to the baths. (It's a luxury hotel, so it's hard to stay there!) The open-air bath is very spacious, and the mountains spread out in front of you, making Breathtaking view! And after the bath, I recommend the traditional pudding at Cafe BanBan. I go there just for that. The interior is Japanese-style, with a warm wooden feel. The meals use seasonal ingredients, and there is a sunken kotatsu dining area, so I think parents will be happy too.

The open-air bath is the best
- I went to the hot springs on a day trip. The calm atmosphere of the building and grounds, and the large open-air bath with a view of Mt. Yufu right in front of you are very nice. The water looks mystical and blue, perhaps because it is reflecting the sun. I was able to forget all the daily troubles and immerse myself in another world. The staff were also very friendly. There is also a family bath, so you can relax without worrying about the people around you.

There is a large open-air bath with a view and a independent guest cottages lodging facility.
- Last year, we stayed here with my wife's parents, my family (married couple and wife, children ages 4 and 3), and my wife's younger brother on a three-generation family trip. In addition to the large open-air bath with a view that can fit about 100 people, there are several open-air baths, indoor baths, and private family baths that you can use freely. The food was also very delicious, and there are also independent guest cottages rooms, so we were able to relax without worrying about the people around us.
